Community Highlights: Meet Brock and Aryn Beeson of The Beeson Team

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brock and Aryn Beeson.

Hi Brock and Aryn, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Our story started plus or minus 20 years ago when we met in college while volunteering with jr high students at our church. We became great friends who eventually fell for each other and a couple of years later we happily ever after, officially became the Beeson team. Since then, we’ve added two incredible kiddos, who are now navigating their own middle school and high school years.

Currently, we’re renovating a 1977 chalet-style A-frame home on a little homestead of our own in a little pocket of unincorporated San Diego County.

In the early years, we quickly settled into a family routine. For me (Aryn) that looked like staying home raising babies, driving carpool, running to sports practices and youth groups, while running a small macrame business from home. Brock hustled to provide for our young family, wearing lots of “jack of all trades” hats – from running a screen-printing business out of our garage to designing custom kitchens. We both became known for our ability to connect people who needed each other’s goods and services. In all honesty, life was a little all over the place back then. But we put our heads down, determined to provide a great life for our kids.

One day, it just clicked. We are both motivated by helping others, especially while building relationships through local involvement, so we knew something was needed that would tie it all together. Having both been raised in North County, we have grown to love the relaxed and outdoorsy lifestyle this area has to offer. This community is so special to us. As longtime residents ourselves, with connections all over the county, the transition into real estate was a natural one. We both decided to pursue our real estate license so we could channel our desire to serve our friends, family, and neighbors with their home buying and selling goals. Both of our families have established roots through creating homes. So whether it be through investment properties, homesteading, or architecting, we saw the legacy that could be created through pride of ownership. Today, we love how we can serve our community AND set an example for our kids through our work ethic and desire to put others’ needs first.

We believe real estate is a relationship business, so as we love to meet new people and chat with just about anyone, it came very naturally to us. Since we’re always engaging with our neighbors, local businesses, shop owners, and colleagues, we are able to stay on top of what’s hitting the market and make the perfect match for our clients. We love the hunt and the negotiations. We also love sharing where to get the most authentic al pastor street taco and who makes our favorite coffee!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Has it been a smooth road? Oh my goodness, well in the beginning there were absolutely some bumps along the way! Especially for me (Aryn). I’m going to get vulnerable here because maybe other parents can relate. There was a period at the beginning of my transition into this career where it felt like there was something to prove since I had been a stay-at-home mom for so long. There seemed to be an idea that a real estate agent needed to be at the office, behind the desk all day and that’s just not me, not us. I knew we could help people buy and sell homes, educate them on the planning process, and negotiate a deal, but it was going to look different. In fact, once I embraced the advantages of being a mama AND as a business owner, I found my stride and was able to serve our clients in such an authentic way, by being present and available – out and about and on the go! Yes, we are absolutely accessible and available to our clients; sometimes that looks like writing up contracts and making negotiations from the sports field or while dinner is cooking.

This business is non-stop and can swallow you whole if there’s not an intentional focus on balance. Time management is essential, but guess what? It’s something we’ve been fine-tuning for the past 15 years of parenting! Thankfully, we work really well together as a team, so we navigate any new struggles that arise, together – in both work AND home life.

Taking the opportunity to serve our clients in a real and authentic way, often leads to amazing, lasting friendships with many of them! We are so grateful to our past clients and friends who have been awesome and are super supportive by referring us.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about The Beeson Team?
We specialize in assisting home buyers and sellers in planning and obtaining their real estate goals, whether it’s their first time purchasing or selling a home or they’re adding an additional investment property. We thrive when helping match the right people with the right properties.

Our approach to real estate is modern and personal; we’re big believers in building honest, sincere client relations. Using our connections, knowledge, and expertise, we strive to make the real estate process as easy (and enjoyable) as possible.

Providing a truly personalized experience, we keep in mind every client is unique, each with different preferences when it comes to neighborhood vibe, design aesthetic, lifestyle, etc. It really is all about pinpointing and solving our clients’ individual needs.

As a brand, we are proud to embrace the idea of “a hometown collective.” To us, this expression embodies our commitment to our clients finding connection in both community and home, wherever that may take them. We’re committed to serving our community and creating real lasting relationships, so when we receive calls from long-time friends, fellow volunteers, and parents from our kids’ school requesting to work with us, we count it a privilege!

We collaborate with business partners across the US, so whether our clients are looking to move locally or out of state, we can help!

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
So many amazing clients have played a huge role in our business. The friends who became clients mean the world to us, since they trusted us to walk through the process with them during such a huge step in their lives. That support will always be appreciated and is such an honor. Our family, colleagues and friends who have strategized, planned, and problem-solved with us at all hours of the day and night are absolutely amazing, too!! So grateful for our collective!!
