Hi Cheena, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am a newly certified Paramedical Tattoo Specialist, but my journey to this field has been an incredible blend of creativity and care. It all started when I pursued studies in art and photography, driven by my love for visual storytelling. Eventually, I shifted paths and went into nursing, where I spent over 13 years working in the medical field.
Although I loved helping people, I reached a point where I felt disconnected from truly making a difference in the way I envisioned. That’s when I reflected on my passions—helping others and embracing creativity— realizing I could combine them through paramedical tattooing.
Now, I have the privilege of using my artistic background combined with medical experience to help people feel more confident and empowered in their own skin. It’s been a rewarding journey to this point, and I’m excited for what’s to come.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting my journey as a Paramedical Tattoo Specialist has been incredibly rewarding thus far, but like any new business, it hasn’t been without its challenges. The startup phase has been a bit slow and rocky—building a client base, navigating logistics, and establishing a presence takes time.
That said, I’m still encouraged. I view each challenge as an opportunity to learn and grow, and I’m embracing every step of the process. This journey is teaching me resilience and reinforcing my passion for helping others through this unique art form.

I am a Paramedical Tattoo Specialist dedicated to improving compromised skin, including scars and stretch marks, using some of the most innovative non-invasive techniques available today. My services help clients regain confidence by blending imperfections into their natural skin tone or improving their texture.
As a Certified Artist with NUE Conceal, I use cutting-edge techniques that employs a skin tone reading device to custom-match pigments to the individual’s skin tone. With over 20 custom-blended inks, this allows me to expertly blend scars, stretch marks, and other skin concerns seamlessly into the surrounding skin, providing a natural and confidence-boosting result.
In addition, I offer Inkless Stretch Mark Rejuvenation (ISR), a non-invasive procedure using a blend of natural oils, vitamins, and serums to improve the appearance and texture of scars and stretch marks.
What is Paramedical Tattooing?
Paramedical tattooing is a cosmetic technique used for medical and reconstructive purposes, restoring or improving the skin’s appearance. It addresses conditions such as:
• Scar and stretch mark camouflage
• Vitiligo correction
• Acne pitting and wrinkle treatment
• Areola restoration
Using a rotary tattoo machine, this process creates micro-abrasions in the skin, triggering collagen and elastin production for improved tone, texture, and appearance.
