Hi Edy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I came to the USA in 2017 as a young tourist from Honduras and then decided to stay in 2019 once I got married to my wife, who is from San Diego. We have 3 children together and decided to open our business during the pandemic. We offer drain cleaning services to all of San Diego County and even southern Riverside County as well.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I had to learn English, and I had to grow up fast. I got married when I was still 19 years old. I learned the plumbing trade and got lots of experience at the PHCC program in San Diego and by doing a lot of hands-on work day and night. My schedule is work 24/7, and I have become a master when it comes to drains and sewer repairs.
