Hi Eileen, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Growing up in Tijuana, I never imagined that one day I’d be running my own esthetician business in San Diego. But looking back, every step of the journey, every daily border crossing, and every hurdle overcome has brought me to where I am today.
I always had a deep interest in beauty and skincare. I always knew I wanted to help people feel confident & beautiful , and that’s when I realized esthetics was the path I wanted to pursue. The challenge? The border. Every day, I crossed the international line between Tijuana and San Diego, often facing long hour wait times and the stress of balancing two cities.
After high school, I decided to study esthetics at Bellus Academy where I would learn the craft. Once graduated, I worked at many spas where I would increase my knowledge and experience. After a year of working at a relaxing spa, my desire to expand my knowledge grew more and more, which is when I decided to move into the medical esthetics field. I worked in both dermatology & plastic surgery fields over the years. Learning many different techniques & corrective treatments. I knew that’s the field where I wanted to be. Working in this successful industry gave me the opportunity to finally move to San Diego and start a regular life here. I started realizing how much potential this industry had, and I knew I was only scratching the surface.
After years of working under other people, I knew it was time to take a leap of faith. I made the bold decision to work for myself. It wasn’t easy. I had to hustle—build a bigger client base, market my services, and prove myself in a highly competitive field. But I had the drive and passion for skincare that pushed me through every obstacle. Slowly, clients started to trust me. They appreciated the personal touch I brought, and word of mouth spread. Over time, my business grew, and I gained recognition not only for my skills but also for the way I made people feel—beautiful, confident, and cared for.
In 2024 I decided to move to the city of Miami, Florida. A city known as a hotspot for cosmetic surgery and aesthetic treatments. I learned further treatments that I eventually incorporated into my business bak in San Diego.
Today, I’m proud to say that my business has flourished. I’m not just an esthetician—I’m an entrepreneur who has built something meaningful. My business is a place where people come not just for beauty treatments, but for a moment of self-care and empowerment. What started as a dream in Tijuana has now become a thriving business in San Diego, and I couldn’t be more grateful for how far I’ve come. The journey has been far from easy. There were days when I doubted myself, when the commute felt like too much, nights where I had to sleep in my car to avoid the long commitment, and when I faced challenges I didn’t know how to overcome. But every day, I woke up determined to keep going, and that relentless drive is what got me here.

We’ve been impressed with Skin by Eileen, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is a place where people come not just for beauty treatments, but for a moment of self-care and empowerment. I specialize in corrective skin care treatments with a touch of relaxation. What sets my treatments apart from others is that I offer personalized skincare regimens based on in-depth skin analysis or consultations. Tailored treatments are often seen as more effective and create a deeper connection with clients. I also offer education to my clients so they can learn more about their skin.
My services go from relaxing customized facials to corrective chemical peel treatments.
