Today we’d like to introduce you to Elijah Schneider
Hi Elijah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
We started Modifly in 2017 with a simple goal: to bring more impactful results and creativity into digital marketing. We saw a gap where brands were struggling with unclear strategies and unpredictable results, so we set out to change that.
In the beginning, it was a team focused on social media marketing and newer channels, blending performance-driven strategies with adaptive creative. As we grew, we leaned into data building AudienceFlow AI, expanded our media services to be channel agnostic and built our influencer & organic social teams help brands connect with their audiences in a more focused way. Our goal has always been to drive results for our clients not vanity metrics so our expansion is rooted in with the question in mind, how will this improve results and growth for our clients.
A big turning point came in 2021 when we joined CourtAvenue Collective, which gave us access to more resources and expertise. This helped us expand our services while staying true to our mission—delivering effective, creative, and transparent marketing solutions to support clients modernize & improve media dollars.
Today, we’re still evolving, adapting to new trends like AI and shifting data policies. But at our core, we’re still a team dedicated to helping brands grow through smart, creative, and results-driven marketing.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth road, but I think that’s the case for any growing business. In the early days, one of our biggest challenges was standing out in a crowded industry. Digital marketing is full of agencies making big promises, so we had to work hard to differentiate ourselves and build trust with clients.
Another challenge has been keeping up and trying to stay ahead of changes in social media, advertising algorithms, and data privacy rules. What works today might not work tomorrow, so staying ahead of trends and adapting quickly has been crucial.
Scaling the business was another hurdle. As we grew, we had to refine our processes, bring in the right people, and make sure we didn’t lose the culture that made us successful in the first place.
Despite the challenges, each struggle has pushed us to be better. We’ve learned to be adaptable, stay focused on delivering real value, and always put our clients & team first.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Luck has definitely played a role, both good and bad, but I think it’s what you do with it that really matters.
On the good luck side, we’ve had moments where the right opportunities came at just the right time—whether it was connecting with a key client, hiring the perfect team member, or catching a shift in marketing before it became mainstream. Sometimes, things just align in a way that makes growth easier.
But we’ve also had our share of bad luck—unexpected platform changes, campaigns that didn’t perform as planned, or external factors that shook up the business. There have been challenges we couldn’t control, but what’s made the difference is how we’ve responded. When things don’t go our way, we’ve learned to pivot quickly, adapt, and find new solutions.
