Today we’d like to introduce you to Ichiro Perez.
Hi Ichiro, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Born in 2017 in Tijuana, Baja California, “bleu. recording” began as an audio and music service provider, developed within the business incubator at CETYS Universidad. Its first steps grew steadily through deep preparation, technical development, and a professional understanding of our clients’ needs.
Our early work led us to collaborate with renowned artists, such as Nortec: Bostich + Fussible, Rubén Albarrán (Café Tacvba), and Kinky. During the pandemic, we adapted by implementing virtual mixing revisions and remote workflows, enabling us to continue providing safe and reliable services for clients/projects, including the Baja California State Orchestra and “Selena: The Series” on Netflix.
Over time, our services expanded beyond artists to include recording studios, production companies, film projects, and television networks such as NHK (Japan), El Gourmet (Argentina), and La Maldita TV (Spain). At Bleu Recording, we focus on creating value at every stage of the phonographic process, while honoring the artistic vision and the creative medium behind each project.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Building “bleu. recording” has meant constantly adapting and learning to balance the theory of sound with the real-world challenges that come with each project, since our focus is also to provide the best emotional channels successfully. We’ve learned that it’s essential to have a deep understanding of the psychological sensitivity behind every recording.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We are a team of professionals and enthusiasts in the fields of audio, music, and visual arts, ready to help you bring your creative world to life through an intellectual property project that supports your artistic and professional growth.
