Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Dailey.
Hi Jessica, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hi, my name is Jessica Dailey owner and founder of DaileyKiss. DaileyKiss was created to make women feel confident and sexy with soft luscious lips and what makes it even better is knowing that it is made with all-natural ingredients. Women are constantly busy and forgetting to take care of themselves, so remember that you’re important and beautiful and deserve nothing but the best! I’m a stay-at-home mom so I’m always busy, I wanted a job that works around my kid’s schedule and that’s when I decided to start my own business. At the beginning I was hesitant but I knew it would be hard work and I would have to push myself because no one else was going to do it for me. I’m currently releasing new products every other month and going to events and meeting amazing people. This opportunity of building my own company has made me realize that I could do anything if I put my heart and mind to it. I love what I’ve created and will continue to.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Some of my struggles that I’ve had along the way is getting customers and putting my name out there especially being a new business owner. You need to have a lot of patients because it will get hard and sometimes you want to give up but you need to remind yourself that you could do it.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
DaileyKiss products are made with natural ingredients. Since we’re still new we’re currently releasing new products every other month. We have holiday deals or we do monthly limited editions. We want to get to know our customers and see what they like. We started with lip oils and lip scrubs but we are expanding to all beauty products. We are excited to see what the future has in store for us.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Being patient is very important. Some days you’ll get customers while other days you won’t, so don’t give up so easily. Don’t compare yourself to someone else. Everyone has their own journey.
