Today we’d like to introduce you to Mackenzie Moore
Hi Mackenzie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I can still remember walking through construction sites as a kid, the sound of hammers echoing, the smell of fresh framing wood in the air. My parents were building our family home here in San Diego, and I was mesmerized by the entire process—watching architectural drawings turn into walls, ideas turn into spaces where memories would be made. That was the first time I realized that real estate was more than just buying and selling houses; it was about building something meaningful, something lasting.
Being born and raised in San Diego, I’ve always felt incredibly grateful to call this city home. It’s where I’ve built lifelong friendships, where my family gathers for Sunday dinners, and where I get to help others find their own place to call home. I spent years in customer service, learning how to truly listen to people and understand their needs. I also earned a bachelors degree in Communication from San Diego State, which gave me the skills to negotiate, explain complex decisions in a simple way, and build strong relationships.
Real estate has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Today, I help buyers and sellers navigate some of the biggest decisions of their lives, whether it’s purchasing their first home, selling a place filled with years of memories, or making a strategic investment. And for me, it’s never just about the transaction—it’s about the trust people place in me to guide them through something so personal.
Coming from a big, tight-knit family, I’ve always valued relationships, and that’s exactly how I approach my work. My clients aren’t just another deal to me—they’re people whose stories I get to be a part of. And nothing is more rewarding than helping them start a new chapter in the city that has always been home to me.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road—real estate is a business of constant learning, adapting, and navigating challenges. Early on, one of my biggest struggles was building my client base and establishing trust in a competitive market. There were moments of doubt, deals that fell through, and times when I had to push through uncertainty.
Another challenge has been balancing the emotional side of real estate. Buying or selling a home is a huge life decision, and clients often go through a rollercoaster of emotions. Learning how to guide people through that process with confidence and care took time and experience.
Despite the challenges, every obstacle has been a learning opportunity. I’ve surrounded myself with great mentors, leaned into my community, and focused on consistently showing up and adding value. Over time, those struggles have shaped me into the agent I am today, and I wouldn’t trade the journey for anything.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in assisting a diverse range of clients, including first-time homebuyers, move-up buyers, luxury home seekers, investors, and those relocating within or to San Diego and Riverside Counties. My experience also includes helping seniors transition to new living situations and military families navigate the complexities of VA loans.
What sets me apart is my commitment to providing exceptional customer service and tailored strategies for each client. I believe in taking the time to understand their unique needs and goals, allowing me to offer personalized solutions that truly make a difference. I pride myself on being a resource throughout the entire process, ensuring clients feel informed and empowered every step of the way.
I am particularly proud of the strong relationships I’ve built with my clients and the positive impact I’ve had on their lives. Their trust and satisfaction drive my passion for real estate and motivate me to continually improve and innovate my services.
For anyone looking to buy or sell a home, I want readers to know that my approach is all about transparency, integrity, and achieving results. I’m here to help make your real estate journey a rewarding and enjoyable experience!
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories is the family gatherings at my grandma and grandpa’s house. Every Sunday, about 45 of us would come together, creating a lively and fun atmosphere filled with laughter. Whether it was for holidays or our cherished Sunday dinners, it was a time to connect, catch up, and simply enjoy being together.
One of the best parts was when all the kids, including myself, would put on little performances for the parents. We’d come up with dances, skits, or songs, and they’d humor us by watching, clapping, and pretending we were stars. It was something we all looked forward to, and it made those nights even more special.
This tradition has been going strong for over 30 years, before I was born, and it’s a testament to how much family means to us. Those gatherings weren’t just about the food—they were about celebrating our relationships and making memories that would last a lifetime. The values I learned from those Sundays—prioritizing connections, cherishing traditions, and making time for loved ones—continue to guide me in both my personal and professional life today.
