Hi Maria , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started getting into tarot and psychic channeling back in 2018 when I was working for a mortgage company. When I was first working at the mortgage company I was excited to be a part of the corporate world until I felt restricted, feeling as if I was being held back in some way all whilst trying to balance out my academic life as well. I would find myself listening to tarot readings and other psychics on YouTube while getting my work done in office. On my days off and when I would get off of work I would do free tarot readings for family members, friends, and brand new clients and then eventually started charging for readings on Instagram for just $5. At first I started off reading a regular 52 deck of playing cards, the art of this type of channeling is called cartomancy, which I’m advanced and specialize in. Eventually at my office job I was told that I couldn’t have certain days off for school and that is as to when I decided that I was going to free myself from my 9-5. In the midst of this career transition I was also seeing many synchronistic angel numbers and ironically enough when I told HR I would be putting my notice in to leave, I had found a deck of tarot cards in that HR office. I remember the card that was facing upwards, the page of wands which points to a passionate new start and beginning, finding those cards was an extra confirmation that the decision I was making was well worth it. It wasn’t the easiest transition to make as I was steadily making income at my office job and I knew that I would be giving that up until my tarot/psychic endeavors would take off. It was a big gamble and risk that I took to leave but it was also so liberating, it felt amazing to not have to be glued to my desk anymore after 3 years of working at the mortgage company. I was finally following and pursuing my true passions. I definitely knew that there was more out there for me to progress in career wise and I’m glad I listened to myself to take that leap of faith!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It wasn’t the smoothest road to take when I first started embarking on this entrepreneurial journey. I was dealing with heartaches in love, struggling with paying certain expenses, all whilst trying to figure out my academic life, and trying to stay afloat during and more so after the pandemic. Business was actually more booming when the pandemic hit as everyone was in despair and going through lots of chaos and uncertainty, so I was constantly getting clientele to see what was going on and what was going to happen within my clients lives. After the pandemic hit I had to raise my prices, which did decline my sales for some time. I also started investing into modeling ventures to source in other streams of income in the midst of me building my business back up. One thing I learned about business is that there is always going to be ups and downs so it’s important to find a middle ground in accommodating clients and business partners in moments of economical decline. Regardless if the economy is up or down I learned that everyone wins when you build trustworthy business connections.
As you know, we’re big fans of Mysticalmar . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
As stated prior I do specialize in cartomancy, the art of reading playing cards. Anyone can look into their future or the future of others just with a regular 52 deck of playing cards, but you must be willing to study just as much as any other practice in order to notice combinations and trends within the cards. You also must keep up with spiritual protection through cleansing-whether it’s through smudging, praying, meditating, or listening to frequency Hz. Eventually I started reading tarot and oracle cards and have made my own deck of homemade cards to channel with as well, I would love to bring some of my homemade decks of cards to life one day to sell for other channelers to use within their readings or within their own personal lives. I not only read tarot and oracle but I also have mediumship abilities and clairvoyant abilities. When channeling I can sometimes hear or smell spirits, for example sometimes I’ll hear footsteps or hear change being ruffled around to let me know that there is a spirit on the other side trying to come through. One time I’ve picked up a clients passed on loved one, I had heard footsteps of some really fancy shoes and it was confirmed that her grandfather owned a shoe store when he was alive. Furthermore, what sets my business apart from others is that I keep the clients coming back not out of greed but out of being able to provide them with true insight and knowledge that they need to navigate through their lives in the present and in their futures to come, all whilst helping them surpass their own limitations of their past. I am most proud of having returning clients from 2018, clients of 7 years that have been supporting me and that I have supported in return. My readings are affordable for anyone and range anywhere from $30-$100+. Most of my readings get sent out through a private recorded link and run anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour+ in duration of filming time. Sometimes I do pop up mini sales to make my readings more affordable and I also do live phone call readings too if you ever want to chat with me live over the phone! I offer free range readings meaning you can ask me any questions you’d like and I also specialize in love, career, self love, past life, and dreamstate readings too. My most popular spread is named after my business, the “Mysticalmar Spread” and my other most popular love spreads are my “Situational/Person Spread” and “Whom/What’s to Come in Love Spread.”
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
I’ve learned to always save for a rainy day and to also teach my clients this same concept as you never know when a global crisis can strike. I learned that hard times don’t last forever and eventually what was once down must go back up, it’s like the Wheel of Fortune Card in the tarot. Discipline and building a stable structure is the most important part of keeping anything afloat whether it’s a business, career path, academic path, or a self love path. The most important thing that myself and my clients have learned is that health is wealth and it’s important to tune into the self to make sure other aspects of life are flowing. You can’t thrive and prosper if you don’t take care of your well being first, so it’s more than okay to take time out for you and to not feel guilty about it either! I also learned that it’s better to work together as a community in order to keep the moral high and positive vibes going. I always say that we weren’t put here on earth with millions of others if we weren’t meant to connect and work together. It’s important to make decisions based on love and the good of all when connecting to the communities surrounding us and online globally that we may network with. What you put out energetically is what gets sent back directly to the self so it’s important to keep the good vibes flowing, for the good will of all!
