Community Highlights: Meet Pam Ross of Assistance League Inland North County

Today we’d like to introduce you to Pam Ross.

Hi Pam, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Assistance League Inland North County is a chapter of Assistance League National, a non profit philanthropic organization providing services to undeserved members of our community. These include clothing school age children, providing dufflebags to housing insecure high school seniors, scholarships for nursing and medical first responders, reading to preschoolers, and events for undeserved elders in residence homes just to name a few programs. We get funding for these programs from operating our Thrift Shop, grants, fundraisers, and donations, We are all volunteers, so minus expenses, revenue goes back to the served community of Inland North County,

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Creating a chapter requires many steps to adhere to nonprofit criteria, Our chapter was formed officially in 1985 with several previous years of preparation.
