Today we’d like to introduce you to Rahaf Hares.
Hi Rahaf, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started as a server in Ohio, and at one point thought I was going to do that my whole life. I always knew there was more for me but didn’t quite know what yet, so I moved to California purely on intuition. I served for awhile at different restaurants, found skateboarding, and then found my path in business. My first business idea was a skateboarding pants business, but the idea evolved before it came into fruition. The first thing I sold was smiley necklaces, but I quickly realized I wanted to do coaching instead of products. I got my master’s degree in Psychology and became a professor for a couple years, and loved it. I loved being a leader and having impact, but wanted more control, freedom, and room for growth. My business had evolved into a life coaching business and I was growing it on the side, until one day I started making enough income to leap out of serving and being a professor and into my business full time.
Leaping into my business was definitely scary, and took a lot of trust. As time went on, my offer got more and more specific and tangible, evolving from life coaching to business coaching to sales coaching. fast forward to today and I’m a multi 6-figure feminine sales coach specializing in sales the feminine way. I have found how to authentically apply my passion for psychology in teaching sales to heart led coaches who want to sign more clients in a way that doesn’t feel icky.
About one year after being full time in my business, things got overwhelming trying to do everything alone, and I brought my partner on board to help grow. It’s been a magical, aligned year working together, and we recently moved to Carlsbad as we step into this next chapter of life and business. Now, we have a group program and ads, and the next step is scaling to $1M and beyond.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not! Obviously business can be inconsistent, so I’ve had great months and totally dry times. The inconsistency is really a test internally to see how well we can emotionally regulate through the hard times. And on top of that being a woman makes it extra challenging because we don’t have a 24 hour cycle like men do.
Really there’s challenges every step of the way. It’s great when there’s good months, but the flip side of that is fulfillment. It feels good hitting a record month until your calendar is jam packed with 1:1 clients that now need to get results. On top of that being able to consistently make payroll, set enough aside for coaches of my own so I can continue to grow, finding budget for ads- the list of challenges is endless, really. But I love it- it’s the life I chose and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
As you know, we’re big fans of Really Rahaf. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am a sales coach, teaching high-ticket sales with feminine strategy. I help heart-led coaches sign more clients in a way that flows and doesn’t feel icky like traditional masculine sales.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
There’s so many, but one that really hit recently is that specificity is a key to being more successful as a coach. The more specific you can be with who you’re speaking to and what you’re helping with, the better.
