Community Highlights: Meet Yvette Bosch of Pampering To Heal

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yvette Bosch.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey in the health and beauty industry started after experiencing some difficulties. It was during the 2009 recession that I lost my job and home, and my boyfriend relapsed while I was seven months pregnant. I ended up in a transitional living center as a new mom. It was there that I learned the importance of self-care. A yoga teacher would volunteer to teach a weekly yoga class. I fell in love with yoga and decided to become a Certified Yoga Instructor and later a Licensed Esthetician. I was fortunate to win two Beauty Changes Lives Scholarships, and today I am Oncology Trained. I love educating my clients on what products are safe and effective to use. I aim to work with hospitals and provide cancer patients with products and services that help prevent and treat skin, hair, and nail issues associated with harsh cancer treatments. I wish to see yoga, meditation, and skin care incorporated into the healthcare system to help people achieve overall health.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There have been many challenges through the years. My daily practice of Yoga, Meditation, and self-care help me stay balanced through the ups and downs of life. I also use Acupuncture and other alternative therapies to destress. Being an introvert can also be a challenge at times. Nowadays, you have to put yourself out there on social media, which can be stressful. Nonetheless, I always try to remain focused on my purpose and perceive a challenge as an opportunity to grow.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I believe pampering yourself is so important and makes you happier and improves your physical, mental, and spiritual health. Unfortunately, some of the products out there can actually harm us. I wish to bring awareness that there are skincare and personal care products that we are using today that contain cheap binders and fillers, highly toxic chemicals, endocrine disruptors, and even carcinogens. Through my website, people can access clean, organic, and oncology-approved professional-grade skincare and self-care products, complementary and alternative treatments, and devices for overall health and healing. I offer online consultations, and they can also reach out to me with questions about hair, skin, nails and yoga, meditation, and pain management.

What does success mean to you?
This quote always comes to mind when I think of success. ” Success is going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.” I have learned to persevere, stay focused and count my blessings.
