Conversations with the Inspiring Aly Enwright

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aly Enwright.

Aly, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m a mom of two girls, PR/marketing professional, and blogger. I started blogging a little over a year ago and I’m blown away with where this journey has taken me in such little time. One day, I decided to make my Instagram public and my following started growing quickly. I was posting styled photos of my girls and received so much positive feedback, I decided to take the plunge and become a blogger. I’ve learned so much over the past year, cultivated great relationships with other bloggers and brands, and have been able to experience so many fun adventures with my family while documenting it along the way.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When I started blogging, I never realized that my hobby would eventually turn into a business. As I started to grow, I started landing partnerships with brands I already use on a daily basis. All of a sudden, brands like Johnson &Johnson, The Children’s Place and Google wanted to work with me. At first, it was all surreal. I was amazed by how quickly I was able to grow my businesses and couldn’t believe these big household brands were interested in partnering up with me, it was pretty awesome. Now, I work with brands on a daily basis, it has turned into my new norm. I’m busier than ever and it only seems like my workload increases by the day. Looking back at where I was a year ago, I would have never believed it if someone told me that blogging could become a full-time job (and income), but it’s true. If I could give any advice to someone interested in blogging, it would be to follow your heart and be true to yourself. If it ever becomes a chore, you won’t enjoy it. There are so many benefits and opportunities that can come with a blogging career but be patient with your growth and remember that all big bloggers started off small too. Everyone’s journey is different!

what should we know about Aly & Co.? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I’m a mom blogger and especially proud of the brand I have created. I officially started blogging a year ago. I changed my username to @aly.andco and watched my following grow — it was awesome. I was sharing moments of my everyday life and people were really interested in following along. My content primarily focuses on children’s fashion/style, and I totally classify myself as a mom/lifestyle blogger. I graduated from Marist College with my Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communication so communication just comes naturally to me. I love sharing a glimpse into my life. While most of my content is focused on pretty photos, if you take a deeper dive into my content, you will notice I also talk about the hard and challenging moments of motherhood as well.
