Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Evans.
Ashley, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve always been interested in modeling, sharing positivity and brightening others lives. Using Instagram, I use my knowledge and past experiences to only shed light on my feed and do my best to uplift my followers. I enjoy brightening others lives and from a young age, I’ve known that being kind and staying positive is the best way to go and takes you the farthest. My family always told me that being nice to others is how you go places and so that is exactly what I’ve always done. I began modeling to tell a story. With nature, expressions, posing & creativity I show my life and try my hardest to make others smile. I believe making others happy and smile is the greatest reward you can get.
Has it been a smooth road?
Everyone has issues. Everyone goes through “funks”. In high school, I struggled with happiness. It was so hard to stay happy. I found myself sad, depressed, stressed & anxious every day. It was rough. Senior year in my first semester, it was the worst for me. I was diagnosed with type one diabetes, gradually got more depressed & I found myself at my worst state. However, I got into modeling, found new friends and a new support system, changed my ways and suddenly found myself happier than I’ve ever been in my life. I never thought I’d get to this point, where I’m a college student, barista, model, and as happy as can be. I’ve achieved so much and am blessed for everyone in my life who got me here. It only goes up from here!
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into your business story. Tell us more about the business.
I am most proud of who I’ve become as a person. Last year at this time, I was negative and hated myself. I was rude & in a toxic relationship and honestly, hated my life. Now, I try my hardest to be nice to everyone, I am in the best relationship of my life, and I’m obsessed with living. Every day, I wake up ready to conquer the day. I’m very proud of the person I am, and I love sharing my positivity with others and making others smile.
Do you have a lesson or advice you’d like to share with young women just starting out?
Do you. Don’t focus on what others do and compare yourself to others work and lives. Be you, do you & don’t settle for less. Focus on being your own unique self and I promise you will go as far as the stars, if not, further!
