Today we’d like to introduce you to Ember Sierra.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My blog was born from my passion for fashion, graphic design, and social media. I wanted to find a creative outlet that allowed me to express myself as well as reach out to like-minded individuals!
Has it been a smooth road?
Time management has been an obstacle for me. Since I am a high schooler, finding time for extracurriculars, school work, and blogging poses a challenge at times. I handle this by getting ahead on school work as much as possible. Using planning resources such as hourly planners are super helpful as well! Keeping a positive mindset as you navigate through this obstacle is equally as important. Responsibilities can be overwhelming at times, but it’s important to remember what makes you passionate about your work!
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I find it hard to categorize my blog, but I would describe it as a teen lifestyle blog. I share my passion for fashion, photography, and design with my followers. I also try to spread a positive message with each post!
For good reason, society often focuses more on the problems rather than the opportunities that exist, because the problems need to be solved. However, we’d probably also benefit from looking for and recognizing the opportunities that women are better positioned to capitalize on. Have you discovered such opportunities?
There are so many unique and new opportunities open to women! As far as involvement in the media, I think women are well suited for roles in social media management, business management, and marketing. As women, it’s so important to have representation in the media and having women in these places of power can ensure this. Outside of media, women have so many other unique opportunities as well. STEM is a relatively new frontier that women are now being encouraged to participate in. So many STEM scholarships are open to young girls. Overall, women have countless opportunities and with passion can ultimately accomplish anything!
