Today we’d like to introduce you to Fatimah Esfahanizadeh.
Fatimah, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I decided to get into healthcare when I was 14 years old. I had an accident and fell down the stairs and developed a headache and two years later the headache was still there! Nothing would get rid of it and my quality of life was diminishing.
I had a really great ex[experience with a chiropractor and the rest is history.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Smooth? OH no. Definitely not, LOL. It has been quite the adventure. Grad school was extremely difficult and stressful; then I graduated and didn’t have a job and had to start from scratch. My advice to other women in the same boat is to really, REALLY focus on the long term goal. Get crystal clear on what you want in the end and do everything you can to get there. Avoid listening to negative people and be more than prepared to put in major sweat equity.
what should we know about your business? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I help middle-aged women in corporate America (or business owners) excel at work by working with them to hit their health goals through chiropractic care. Specifically, I love working with those who have headaches or migraines, hormonal imbalances, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel, and neck pain. I specialize in something called corrective care, so in other words, I help women be as healthy as they can be and stay that way for the long haul.
What do you feel are the biggest barriers today to female leadership, in your industry or generally?
Honestly? Nothing. We live in the modern era, so women can do literally ANYTHING they put their mind to.
