Karla, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Hi there. I am originally from Tijuana, BC Mexico, I migrated to the US in 2007 as a single mom with my son, after eight years, I met my husband now 🙂 and we have a child together, so that makes me mother of two awesome boys one 15 and the other one 5, and wife to a great man.
Well as an entrepreneur by heart, I always wanted to have my own business where I can be of help to others in the community especially women and children, so after owning a couple of businesses prior to this one, I had a couple of problems in my personal life that lead me to have to start from zero again.
So, I decided to sell lipsticks from a particular brand, however not knowing all that involves in the beauty industry, I uncovered a Pandora box after waking up one day with a swollen lip, so after a lot of research, I started being very concerned about what we as women are applying on our faces and skin in general.
Me being a believer in God, I asked Him through prayer what would be the best thing to do, so as I received confirmation and guidance from Him, I decided to create my own brand of cosmetics that not only is safe and healthy but also very high quality in its ingredients and pigments with super long-lasting effects and luxury formulas that are versatile as well; making them very practical for the modern day, active virtuous woman.
I strongly believe that investing in your business means investing in your people. That’s why we only partner with ethical factories that ensure that each of their employees receives a fair wage, that they also use only the best quality ingredients out there, that is cruelty-free to any kind, and are subject to equitable workplace practices.
It is one of my missions to be part of a helping community, by donating and giving to organizations that help children in remote areas, where they are subject to abuse and many forms and subject to many dangers.
It’s a mission about love. We love God and we demonstrate our love and live out our faith by extending care to others.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not been a smooth road, there will always be struggles and situations that will probably discourage you.
You don’t have to be a genius to come up with a great idea and be successful, but you do need effort, hard work, focus and faith to persevere and be successful.
Remember, it is a lack of focus in people that lead them to failure.
My advice would be, to always keep in mind that nothing happens overnight, it takes time to build and as you build you learn and acquire more experience through hard work in persistence, so take it slow and very important seek God for guidance since He always has the final word at the end of the day!
