Today we’d like to introduce you to Krisel Silver.
Krisel, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
For those who don’t already know, I’m the owner of Silver Esthetics. I have found a new love for being a lash artist and have an obsession with removing your hair!
Before becoming an esthetician, I went to school for fashion design. I love to sew and see my designs come to life. I fell in love with skincare after working at massage envy. I took the plunge and went to Esthetics school where I became obsessed with hair removal. I’ve specialized in waxing for over three years now. I’ve recently become a certified lash artist. The attention to detail I have to have and to watch lash designs come to life is EVERYTHING to me. It’s almost like I’m sewing again! Although I’m in the early stages of my lash career, my goal is to master the art of lashing.
Everything I do is for my family. My husband is my rock, my biggest supporter and my best friend. I’m so lucky to have him by my side! We have three beautiful kids. A 4-year-old girl and (almost) 2-year-old boy/girl twins.
My life is a constant juggle. I juggle being a wife, mom, business owner, daughter, sister and everything in between and I love every single minute of it!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road to success is never smooth, it has its ups and downs and every “down” is a lesson learned!!
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am a licensed esthetician specializing in hair removal (waxing) and lash artistry. I am known for enhancing your beauty and keeping things natural but noticeable. I am proud to say that my career revolves around making women feel their absolute best!
Do you have a lesson or advice you’d like to share with young women just starting out?
For those just starting your journey, my advice to you would be to believe in yourself, stay true to yourself and don’t let anyone walk all over you!
