Conversations with the Inspiring Marcelina Krauze

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marcelina Krauze.

Marcelina, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My journey with Instagram begun 2015. At first, I was not very interested in Instagram but just because I didn’t know how to use it. I always loved to take pictures of almost everything, editing and thinking about great compositions. One day, I just downloaded and started posting.

It gave me a lot of opportunities to play with my look and also a lot of confidence. As I came to Germany at the age of twelve, first, I had to learn the language and then I went to a German gymnasium. The kids knew each other and it was not that easy for a person who is not very extroverted. The University and Instagram showed me that I don’t have to fit in to be lucky and that it’s more interesting to have an own story.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There have been a lot of struggles but also a lot of beautiful moments. One of the most important things that I have learned is that you have to make sure who your real friends are and don’t waste time on people you know they aren’t. Furthermore, I often hear that I think too much about how I leave the house but I think it’s not negative I just feel more confident and fresh it’s ok to look into the mirror and say” You look good now you can leave and have a great day”. So, when you feel great leaving your house, don’t let destroy that feeling by others. It took some time to deal with negative comments and feedback also in real-life but I just think those help us develop.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into Blondelina’s Blog story. Tell us more about the business.
I love experimenting with my looks, my hair, my makeup and always try to stay natural enough. I love to surprise myself and also other people. I am always looking for new inspiration but don’t like to copy ideas. I am proud to hear that my look is natural and that I have a positive aura. I am proud to show that Instagram and selfies don’t have to represent fake people like most of the critical person are thinking.

Who do you look up to? How have they inspired you?
It may sound boring but surely my mum! She is my best friend and I am very proud to say thas. On Instagram, my biggest inspirations are Maffashion and Pamela Reif because they reach their goals but are still down to earth! I think this is so important!
