Today we’d like to introduce you to Tatiana Berindei.
Tatiana, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My journey with Super Power Experts began just about four years ago. I was working on my own as a Spiritual Coach and realized that the solo-preneur journey was not as exciting as I thought it was going to be. I was lonely and longing for community. It was then that I decided to join forces with the collaborative organization Super Power Experts, or SPE. I started out as a coach with them, but our relationship quickly evolved into much, much more.
Everything we do at SPE is divinely guided. When I started my podcast show, it began as a prayer. I wanted so much to have a way to uplift the voices of the incredible women that I knew who were doing such amazing work in the realm of embodiment, sexuality and the divine feminine. I felt that they carried so much wisdom and that more people needed to hear it! So I put this very strong prayer out into the universe. And the next week, SPE’s Executive Director, Tonya Dawn Recla, asked me if I wanted my own podcast. It was so clearly a direct answer to the prayer that I had just put out! So my yes was immediate, and the Sex, Love and SuperPowers podcast show was born.
The agreement was that I could have a show on the SPE platform with the understanding that I was going to be the guinea pig – helping her dream, build and test the system, and then someday train others in that system. I don’t think any of us had any clue that it would grow into what it has become today! We were just having fun and doing what we were divinely guided to do. What started as a couple of folks with computers, apple headphones and a strong drive to uplift others has blossomed into a network with ten shows – and growing – that averages over a million downloads monthly in more than 90 countries around the world.
And the fun keeps growing! We also have an amazing training program called Master Your Personal Power. It’s for people looking to hone their superpowers so that they can change the world for the better. As a guide and coach for this program, I have the wonderful blessing of working alongside some other incredible coaches to help support people in becoming the fullest, most embodied version of themselves (all the while learning to manipulate the matrix). We even have our own app now! And four years in, it feels like we are just getting started. I can’t wait to see what unfolds and evolves with this organization and I feel so blessed to be a part of it.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
If the road to success were smooth and easy, everyone everywhere would do it. The truth is, like anything worth doing, it can be a struggle. There are lots of parts of the journey that are not fun. (Tonya likes to call that the “chop wood, carry water” phase). Sure, having a podcast sounds as easy as “hit record and go!” But do you know what goes into getting that thing out into the world on the back end?!
We have over 40 different people on our production and promotions team keeping this machine running! The dreaming phase is fun and easy, but then you actually have to take the steps to execute a thing. That’s not the sexy part (though when it comes to podcasting, we have definitely cracked the code on that one and created a done-for-you system so it can be easy in terms of your actual tasks).
By far, the hardest part though is mastering the internal game. There are so many little voices inside that will tell you all sorts of horrible untruths like no one cares, who are you to be doing this, you will never amount to anything, people are going to think you’re crazy/stupid/a fraud… blah, blah, blah. Because becoming seen is scary. It’s vulnerable. And the job of those little voices is to keep us safe. So, you just have to ask yourself: would I rather be “safe” or living on purpose? And then tell those voices to shut up and keep moving!
I also think, above all, that knowing that you are in service to something larger than yourself is crucial. If you’re just in it for yourself, well – we don’t need more of that in the world. Sorry, but we don’t. It’s not about you. There is so much pain and suffering in this world that needs healing. If you are being called to do something great in this world, you must do it! Because it’s not about you! We are all in this boat together and you have no idea whose life you might change or impact for the better if you follow the guidance, the nudge, the instinct.
Just make sure it’s your dream, your vision that you are going after – not someone else’s. There’s enough of that in the world too – chasing dreams that aren’t even our own. What is your unique gift, your unique offering to the world? It might not be huge – and THAT’S OK. We can get so caught up thinking that to change the world, we need to have giant impact, giant numbers. Sometimes cooking a meal for our neighbor who has three kids and a new baby or taking out the trash for an elderly person down the street or showing up for a friend who is grieving IS the impact. We were all given gifts by the creator, but it’s up to us to make sure that we are cultivating and sharing them, in big or small ways.
what should we know about Super Power Experts? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
As an organization, I think we pride ourselves on the truth that we really are collaborative and we really DO do things differently. We’re not just giving lip-service to showing up differently than other organizations in the personal development and spiritual growth spaces. It doesn’t mean we don’t ever make mistakes, but we always strive to make things right and to operate in full honesty, integrity and transparency, which I love about us. I also love being a part of the continual co-creation of this organization. It truly does have a life of its own and it so fun to watch the vision unfold and evolve.
I think one of the things that sets us apart from most other organizations working in this space is our ability work with people to really ground the more “woo-woo” concepts into their lives. We’re not just haphazardly handing out information, but we have processes that we use with our clients that actually get them to GET this stuff and make real, lasting changes in their lives. This model has evolved through lots of trial and error, but the beauty of our model is that clients in our programs don’t just have access to one coach, one perspective, but many. I love that so much as a practitioner, because it not only means that I am also supported, but I get to see the incredible power it has in action with our clients.
Looking back on your childhood, what experiences do you feel played an important role in shaping the person you grew up to be?
Now, this is going to sound like a really weird answer to this question, but I truly believe that the most profound experience from my early life that has had the most powerful positive impact on my life and the work I am doing now is the way that I came into the world. My mother had an ecstatic birth with me. I was blessed enough to come into the world in the energy of orgasm and ecstasy. So from go, I had the imprint of that experience on my being. I was born smiling. I was born in a bath of the hormones of love.
We talk so much about early childhood experience and how it impacts our life, but we often leave out the most crucial part of that story – how we come into the world. I am forever indebted to my mother for seeking out the support of a midwife and an incredibly hands-off obstetrician who sat in the corner of the dimly lit room and simply told my mother to “breathe her out like a flower.” I think we as a culture have sadly underestimated the profound effect that the way we are born can and does have on our lives.
For me, the largest measure of my success in life is not that I have tons of listeners for my podcast. For me, my measure of success is that I know how to fully embody the energy of love – how to have it pulsing through every cell of my body, completely infusing me. This does not mean that I am constantly walking around in a state of ecstatic bliss. Far from it sometimes! But I know how to get there. This is success for me. And I truly believe I have my mother to thank for that.
