Today we’d like to introduce you to Albert Kamaji.

Albert Kamaji

Hi Albert, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
BK stands for Bill & Kay Greco the original owners, Bill opened up BK Printing in 1992 on Newport Avenue. Bill was a retired print shop teacher from Rhode Island. Moved to San Diego in 1991 to keep busy opened a print shop location where the old southbeach bar & Grill kitchen was. I (Albert Kamaji) worked with bill from 1995-1997 on 1997 I bought it from Bill Greco.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think our biggest challenge is competing with the online resources, but we are always able to give customer service that they aren’t equipped with. That gives us the upper hand and the ability to work face to face with our community.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Raven, our shop dog, mostly. While this is completely accurate, we truly set ourselves apart through our commitment to excellence in all aspects of our service. Our broad range of printing services covers everything from traditional print materials to unique custom projects, ensuring that we can meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Quality control is at the forefront of our operations. We understand the importance of deadlines, which is why we prioritize efficiency without compromising on quality.

We go above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience for our clients, providing personalized assistance and expert guidance every step of the way. From initial concept to final delivery, we are committed to exceeding expectations and ensuring complete satisfaction with every project.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
The support in our close knit community of Ocean Beach is by far our favorite. We are honored to be celebrating so many years in this location and hope for many more to come. The shop small mindset and the support local way of life really allows us to thrive.
