Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Alexander

Hi Alexis, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story began in the early ’90s in Oceanside, CA. If you visit “Oside” now, you might think it’s a great place to grow up. But back in those days, it was rough—gangs, drugs, and prostitution were part of everyday life. Unfortunately, my parents fell victim to that environment, which led to me being raised by my grandparents. Growing up without my parents left a deep void, this feeling of not being wanted or worthy of love. This void led me on a journey I didn’t fully understand until much later in life—but more on that in a bit.
Since I was young, I knew I was different. I had a gift, though at the time, it felt like a curse. I’m a medium, able to connect to the other side, but as a little girl without guidance, this gift was more frightening than anything. I learned to suppress it, though the void in me grew. I craved love and family, and as soon as I could, I started searching for it in relationships.
In freshman year, I was dating a senior, the first person who made me feel cared for—or so I thought. But things quickly turned dark. One night, I invited him and his friends over while my grandparents were out of town. I took a drink, and before I knew it, I was in and out of consciousness. That night, his three friends sexually assaulted me. Like many women in similar situations, I blamed myself. I kept thinking, “If only I hadn’t let them in….” That self-blame turned into deep anger, but it wasn’t directed at them—I was angry at myself. This sent me down a destructive path, mirroring my mother’s, and I turned to drugs as a coping mechanism.
I spent years struggling with addiction until a moment of clarity while facing the consequences of my choices. In that moment, I prayed for help, recognizing that being arrested was a pivotal wake-up call—a chance to change my life. After I got clean, I found myself at a crossroads. Around this time, I met the father of my three children. That childhood void hadn’t healed, and now I carried a lot of self-hate. This combination was toxic, leading me to a 13-year relationship with a partner who was abusive and narcissistic. I didn’t believe I deserved better.
During that time, I became a hairstylist, channeling my energy into building a business and connecting with people. Then, in November 2018, a past-life regression session with a client triggered what I call my “great awakening.” It was like a switch flipped. My gift, which I had silenced, came back full force, and I started to understand how my upbringing had led me to this place.
Leaving the father of my children was a massive change. As I freed myself from past trauma, my clients noticed something shifting in my energy. They started asking questions, and that’s how I stepped into the work I do now. At first, I channeled messages from loved ones who had passed on, helping people find closure. Over time, my practice evolved to helping clients connect with their higher selves and guiding them toward becoming their best selves.
Looking back, I see now that everything I went through gave me a “Ph.D.” in life, preparing me to help others heal. I don’t want any of those painful experiences to be in vain. My mission is to guide others in transforming their struggles—no matter their path—into strength and purpose, helping them create lives filled with self-love, empowerment, and fulfillment. I’ve learned that the love I was searching for has always been within me. A huge part of what I do now is inner child healing, guiding others to love themselves deeply. Through that, the beauty of life unfolds.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but each challenge has shaped who I am today. These experiences taught me resilience, self-worth, and the importance of inner healing. I’m still growing and healing, and while hard experiences still arise, I’m now better equipped to handle life. These hardships weren’t easy, but they gave me the strength and insight to help others find their own power. Every obstacle has fueled my mission to support women in transforming their struggles into strength—all while I continue to build the life I dreamed of as a little girl.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My work is all about helping others heal, transform, and connect deeply with themselves. I’m a holistic life coach who specializes in inner child healing and grounded spirituality, providing people with a real-world approach to personal growth and spiritual connection. I focus on guiding clients to heal their inner child wounds, integrate their spiritual insights into everyday life, and embody their higher selves. Through one-on-one sessions, group programs, immersive retreats, and courses, I create a safe space for clients to explore and release emotional blocks, freeing them to live more empowered lives.
What I’m most proud of is the impact I’ve seen in my clients’ lives as they learn to heal and reclaim their personal power. Many come to me feeling disconnected, unworthy, or burdened by past trauma, and through our work, they reconnect with their inner strength and begin to build lives they truly love. Seeing those transformations is incredibly rewarding; it’s what fuels my passion for this work.
What sets me apart is my grounded, real-world approach to spirituality and healing. My goal is not just to guide my clients but to teach them to become self-healers. I want them to have the tools and understanding they need to continue healing and growing on their own, without always depending on me. Healing is a journey that continues beyond any session, and empowering clients to trust themselves is central to my work. I think my clients resonate with my down-to-earth approach because it shows them that deep transformation is possible for anyone, and they can carry that power within themselves.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
If there’s one thing I’d love to leave with you, it’s this: healing is a journey that we all deserve to experience, no matter where we are or what we’ve been through. Transformation is always possible, and it starts by trusting yourself and embracing each step along the way. I truly believe that no one is broken; we are all whole and capable of incredible growth.
My work is rooted in creating spaces where people feel safe and supported in their own journeys. I bring the lessons and insights from my own path—balancing personal growth, motherhood, and spirituality—into everything I do. Whether it’s through connecting one-on-one or within a community setting, my purpose is simply to walk alongside those who feel called to this path.
So, if you’re curious about exploring healing and growth, or just looking for a bit of inspiration, know that you’re not alone. The journey is yours to take, and I’m here, cheering you on every step of the way.
