Today we’d like to introduce you to Analicia Diaz.
Hi Analicia , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Born and raised in America’s Finest City, I’m a proud MexiPino — the proud granddaughter of hardworking immigrants who laid deep roots in San Diego’s most vibrant communities. My story begins in Logan Heights, where my maternal grandparents settled after arriving in the U.S. They spent years working at the local fish cannery, attending mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe, and devoting their time to uplifting the neighborhood they called home. Eventually, they moved to Paradise Hills, where I spent much of my childhood surrounded by love, tradition, and the value of perseverance.
On my Filipino side, my grandparents immigrated from the Philippines in pursuit of higher education. They made National City their home — and their mission. My grandmother went on to found the Filipino Nurses Association and both grandparents were deeply involved in civic life, advocating for the inclusion of Filipino culture in city policies and events. Hosting local officials in their home and mentoring the next generation was just another part of their legacy.
Entrepreneurship wasn’t just in my future — it was my childhood playtime. While other kids played house, I played CEO. I carried around a typewriter, scribbled out invoices, and built filing systems for pretend businesses that felt very real to me. By 14, I was already working in offices, and I’ve been working ever since. My background is in sales and business development, and if there’s one thing I’ve never lacked, it’s hustle.
When the world slowed down during COVID, I finally sped up a lifelong dream — I jumped into real estate with my whole heart. And I haven’t looked back since.
Today, I work with buyers and sellers across San Diego and beyond, helping them navigate one of the most important decisions of their lives. Whether it’s a first-time buyer searching for their dream home, a couple investing in their future, or a family selling their long-time residence to start a new chapter, I get to be part of their story. That’s not something I take lightly — it’s an honor I carry with intention.
I’m known for being both strategic and heart-forward. My buyers feel guided, educated, and celebrated — not just on Key Day when we toast with a tailored celebration, but at every step of the journey. Whether it’s a big family bash or a quiet moment with a couple and their dog, I make sure it reflects them.
My sellers receive a concierge-level experience — I coordinate vendors, design a marketing plan that honors their home’s unique neighborhood vibe (shoutout to 92139, 91950, and beyond), and execute pricing and negotiation strategies that drive results. I host luxe broker events, neighbor socials, and open house soirees that feel more like a lifestyle experience than a sales pitch.
Outside of real estate, I’m lucky to share life with my soulmate Tony — the boy I met at 15, lost touch with, and reconnected with later in life. He’s my rock, my best friend, and the calm to my creative storm. We’re raising our three incredible daughters Kailani, Kina, and Kimmy, and loving our three sweet pups: Dolly, Cher, and Juliette.
Faith, family, and community are at the center of everything I do. I believe in living fully, loving big, and working with purpose. Life is short — so let’s make it unforgettable.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Along the way it has definitely had its ups and downs. I moved out when I was 17 and worked full time if not more for many years. I sadly tried to get my college degree but that wasn’t in the cards. Thankfully I was blessed that my had work and natural intellect carried me through. Ive always been a top earner and awarded achievement throughout my career. There were times where my friends were off vacationing or enjoying college and I really wished I had a carefree life. As a young adult I just worked harder. Having my first daughter at 23 years old and my second not long after and then getting divorced was the hardest part. Things were more crucial now with two mouths to feed on my own. However, I can proudly say as a single mother for 10 years we stayed together and I provided a safe and loving home where they didn’t have to go without. Now they are strong young women in college. Doing something I didnt get a chance to do.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in helping sellers across San Diego get off the fence and into escrow by delivering clear data, real market strategies, and the kind of customized support that feels like a friend who just happens to be a fierce negotiator.
I’m known for being the one who shows up prepared, professionally dialed-in, but with a little wit and a $2 bill in hand — a small token I give my clients for luck and as a reminder that real estate should be unique and personal.
What sets me apart? For starters, I don’t just list homes — I listen. For example – Helping my client Paul sell his family home $75,000 over list price after a heartbreaking season of loss and financial stress. He thought foreclosure was the only option. But with some education, a little elbow grease, and the right marketing, we flipped the script. He walked away with a fresh start — a new home, money in the bank, and his confidence restored. That’s the kind of impact I live for.
I specialize in listings that require finesse — from deferred maintenance to complex negotiations — and I’m especially proud of supporting military families, first responders, and multi-generational households navigate life-changing transitions. I’ve also built a reputation in the community for being more than just a Realtor — I’m a resource, a connector, and an advocate.
But what I’m most proud of? I’ve built a business around heart. Whether it’s mentoring new agents, volunteering with organizations that serve kids, dogs, or both, or helping families find generational wealth through real estate — my success is tied to my service. I work tirelessly by attending conferences, classes and work on not only my business but myself so I can be the best for you my client.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Whats not to love?!! I could never leave. San Diego of course has the best weather. We are a diverse city that offers so many things to do! You can go from the city, to the beach, to the mountains, to the desert, and snow within hours. Who can say that?! We have a wonderful foodie scene, nightlife and again the cultural history is beautiful. San Diego is my heart, my home and the very soul of who I am.
