Conversations with Arlara Bennett

Today we’d like to introduce you to Arlara Bennett.

Arlara Bennett

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I moved to Cali from New York at 14 years old. Tragic incident left me without a family. I’ve always had so many talents and always had a passion for social customer service. My mental “getaway” is just being creative in everything that I do down to my soul. I am a woman of many features!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road had its few bumps and bruises, from losing my parents at a young age and being my own mom to putting myself through high school and college while living with an alcoholic sibling, to having weight loss problems boyfriend issues, to becoming humble and focusing on my creativity through all the years of whatever I experience. I’m muscling it all into my passions and creating a bigger outlook on everything that I have come to an understanding of. That’s life

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am most definitely a jack of ALL TRADES. I am:

-a hairstylist

-a chef

-a choreographer

-songwriter

– a MODEL

MOST IMPORTANTLY

-I’m a singer/ rapper

What set me apart from others is my motivation, my persona, my work ethic, my ability to teach others, and also that I care about people enough to tell them the truth and help them get past their reactions towards someone wanting them to be better. I am a rock that can’t be broken

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the COVID-19 crisis?
What I’ve learned from the crisis is that all struggles are struggles. You’ll struggle more if you don’t understand that it’s not to be accepted; it’s to be gotten pass. When you learn from uncontrollable matters, it helps you handle matters better that you actually can control
