Today we’d like to introduce you to Arzoo Sadiqi.
Hi Arzoo, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi, my name is Dr. Arzoo Sadiqi. My brother, Dr. Rauf Sadiqi, and I are board-certified physicians who founded a wellness center (SD Health and Beauty) in Eastlake with a shared vision—to help our community lead healthier, more confident lives. Together, we created a space that blends the best of modern medicine, wellness, and aesthetics under one roof.
At our center, we offer concierge medicine, executive wellness programs, cosmetic dermatology, surgical and non-surgical hair restoration, and medically guided weight loss programs designed to promote sustainable results.
Our motto is “lead by example.” As young physicians passionate about preventative care, we believe that true health is about feeling good inside and out. That’s why we’re not your typical medical spa or weight loss clinic—we’re a one-stop destination dedicated to transforming lives through evidence-based medicine, wellness, and aesthetics.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a board-certified physician in San Diego specializing in FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) hair and eyebrow transplantation, I’ve had the privilege of helping patients restore their confidence through natural, long-lasting results; giving them back what time, trends, or life may have taken from their appearance. But four months ago, I stepped into a role I don’t often occupy: I became the patient. And to my surprise, it was one of the most joyful and humanizing experiences of my career.
As doctors, we’re trained to guide, comfort, and heal. But surrendering that role, even for an afternoon, offered me a rare and beautiful shift in perspective. I experienced the vulnerability, the trust, and ultimately the thrill that so many of my patients feel. It reminded me, on a deep level, why I love this work: not just to improve appearances, but to restore a sense of ease, self-connection, and everyday freedom.
Like many women, I had a long and complicated relationship with my brows. About 15 years ago, I had them tattooed. And as the ink faded and beauty trends evolved, I layered microblading strokes over the old pigment every few years just to keep up. From a distance, they looked fine. But up close? The mix of residual ink and newer strokes just didn’t hold up. It didn’t look like real hair.
So I did what I’ve helped countless patients do: I underwent my own FUE eyebrow transplant and the transformation has been nothing short of incredible.
For the first time in years, I’m not reaching for brow pencils or scheduling semi-permanent ink touch-ups. I wake up with full, natural brows that are mine, real hair, that I can groom, shape, and style. Brows that actually grow. And best of all, they frame my face in a way no pigment ever could.
The compliments have been non-stop:
“Did you do something different?”
“Your brows look amazing!”
And what they’re noticing isn’t makeup or ink; it’s natural, living hair, artfully transplanted to restore the shape and fullness I thought I had lost for good.
Like so many of my clients, I was dealing with thinning brows caused by genetics, age, hormones, and yes, over-plucking. I wanted something symmetrical, long-lasting, and effortless. Something that didn’t wash off or fade away. And that’s exactly what I got.
I’m far from alone in this journey. Celebrities like Chrissy Teigen and Meagan Good have also embraced eyebrow transplantation, and it’s easy to see why. When done right, the results are subtle, natural, and transformative. People won’t know you had something done, they’ll just know you look amazing.
The best part? The process was incredibly efficient. We performed the procedure right here in my clinic in just about four hours on a Friday afternoon. Using SmartGraft FUE technology, we harvested grafts from a small, discreet area at the back of my scalp; completely hidden whether I wear my hair up or down. The experience was smooth and virtually painless. I didn’t need anything stronger than Tylenol, and while I had a bit of expected swelling around my eyes (mostly resolved by Monday), I was back at work without makeup, and without missing a beat.
Aftercare was simple: no touching, gentle protection, and a little patience. The donor site was only mildly tender the first evening, and the itchiness I felt around my brows was just part of the healing process.
After four weeks I had the expected shedding phase, now four months out I’m in the new growth phase. These transplanted follicles have started producing real eyebrow hair that grows like scalp hair. Yes, I’ll need to trim and shape them more often, but to me, that’s a joy, not a burden. It’s real hair. It’s mine. And it’s here to stay.
As both a provider and now a patient, I can say with full confidence: eyebrow transplantation is a game-changer. It’s not just about aesthetics, it’s about peace of mind, time saved, and the confidence of waking up with your brows already done.
If you’ve been considering it, let my story be your sign. The process is easier than you think, the results are better than you imagine!
