Today we’d like to introduce you to Caleb Collins.
Hi Caleb, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Attending college but soon having to drop out because of not having enough money to finish, I wanted to do something that was in service to people, something that I could put my creative mind to, and most importantly, a part of God’s plan. While making dance videos, studying my craft, and working as an editor, I ran into the idea of making cotton candy.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road so much. We needed more understanding our market, testing, branding, and getting customers during covid was really hard. We did reach success towards the end stages of covid though, which we are incredibly grateful for.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am extremely motivated and headstrong on letting the world know you can be more that what labels people put on you. I am most proud of my ability to connect with others as well as creating relationships with those who like the way I dance. I express what I feel, sometimes it may be to honest, but I don’t know how else to be.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
For my cotton candy business, I see us growing to be a successful black owed company who is able to serve internationally. We believe in creating more job opportunities, leadership, and inspiration for those who want to start something and it come to life.
For my dance career, traveling to teach across the world and making my mark on the film industry with acting, dance and whatever else God asks me to do.
