Today we’d like to introduce you to CJ Stringfield.
Hi CJ, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I’ve been playing drums over 30 years, starting drumming in church at the age of three. I got introduced to different genres of music around 6, and 7 years old from jazz to hip hop listening to different musicians in the Tri-State area in Pennsylvania. I started playing at different venues and clubs by 14 and started traveling all over the US doing what I love.
By my 10th grade year, I was introduced to a music software called Fruity Loops by a classmate who is a pretty well-known producer by the name of PC Beats who is also close with asap the Producer (Mac Miller, Meek Mill, Juelz Santana, Freeway, Gillie Da Kid, Lloyd Banks, and Beanie Sigel, which is crazy because we all went to the same school.
I feel in love with producing from the start. Producers I’ve admired and studied such as Teddy Riley, Timbaland, Pharrell Williams/Neptunes, Dr. Dre, DJ Battlecat, DJ Quik, HitBoy, Ayotheproducer, Metro Boomin, Southside of 808 Mafia, Dallas Austin, Zaytooven and I’m always on the lookout for new producers on the arise.
I currently own my own production label, Music life Entertainment LLC as I pursue to work hard putting my name out. I also have music of my own as well as other artists I’ve worked with on all streaming platforms (Drum kid).
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
This journey has been hard and not easy. It can be tough building a true support system and be able to build a fanbase because I truly believe in what I do and what I bring to the table. Today, I am still learning to be that producer who can be balanced meaning, bring true music that touches your soul and make music that makes you wanna dance.

I am a professional musician, upcoming producer, composer, arranger, and artist.
I specialize in live performances, music production, and session musician.
I am most proud of my ability to keep going and never gave up on myself.
My humble spirit, my willingness to help others and be supportive while working on building my goals and dreams.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
The craziest thing is that most don’t know that I’ve had the courage to get behind the mic a rap lol. I actually have a song out right now collaborating with my bro G.G.E.O called Fanwaggon out on all streaming platforms and I’ve worked with another artist and family on a song call Run It Up by Killa on SoundCloud.
