Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Gortaire.
Hi Daniel, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started in a South America-Ecuador creating video and photography content for musicians and local businesses, it ended up becoming a talent agency and video production house and build up a decent amount of followers that’s was when I decided also to restart my music career. After a few years, I left all behind, moved to USA to be close to my 3 children in the same city. It’s been quite an adventure to restart from scratch but today my business is starting to pick up after pandemic giving service and many local businesses and my music career it’s better than ever, touring with my band and writing new albums every year. I know is a difficult road to the top but I’m trying to be happy while I try.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not easy at all. Since I had to start from scratch with no network I started as an Uber driver passing information and talking to all kinds of people to get a better idea of my next steps while making some money in the processes, after the first-year things look like they were going on track with my business and music career but pandemic hit and as a non-essential service had to go back to drive, and do it over again but from experience. Today I can see the results enough to keep me working hard for myself, my family, my bandmates and my comunity
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an artist, musician, and content creator. I create video and photography content for other artists and businesses. I specialize writing, directing, and editing as well as playing bass guitar with all my passion. I’m known for my capability of doing everything with contagious love, I don’t know if it’s pride but every time my kids tell me they are proud or happy of what I do is when my heart gets pumped up.
What sets me apart from others is that no matter what I always know it’s going to be ok and try to be a positive influence and problem solver in every process. I always say “I come from the future and it’s fantastic” we just need to do the work today
