Today we’d like to introduce you to Elise Bright.
Hi Elise, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I was raised in a Christian home, but for many years I didn’t truly follow Christ. As a teenager, I went down a path of rebellion, making poor choices, chasing temporary highs and trying to fill a deep emptiness inside. I got caught up in drinking, drugs, and promiscuity, all while feeling an overwhelming sense of shame and unworthiness.
At 19 and again at 22, I had abortions. The first one broke me to my core. By the second, I was numb, disconnected from myself and from God. I told myself I couldn’t have children and still build the life or business I wanted. But that was a lie I believed.
Just three years later, in the midst of starting my business, I had my daughter. That moment shattered the falsehoods I had built my life around. I realized it was possible to pursue purpose and motherhood, and that God’s grace can restore even what we think is lost.
In 2014, I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ, and everything changed. He turned my life completely around and set me on a new path of healing, purpose and peace.
I spent nearly nine years in a toxic relationship with my ex-husband, and through that season, God taught me resilience and discernment. In 2018, I remarried, this time to the most amazing, supportive man. He’s my best friend and biggest encourager, always inspiring me to grow in faith and excellence.
Looking back, I can see how God’s hand was on my life the entire time, even when I was running from Him. My story is a testimony of redemption, restoration, and the boundless grace of Jesus Christ.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The years that I was with my ex husband were some of the hardest years of my life. I spent nearly nine years in a toxic relationship that left me emotionally drained and constantly walking on eggshells. The environment was filled with manipulation and turmoil, and I often felt trapped and powerless. When the marriage finally ended, I faced a painful divorce and a long, exhausting custody battle. It was a season of fear and uncertainty, but also one that taught me resilience, faith, and how to rely fully on God when everything around me felt unstable.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in electrolysis, which is permanent hair removal. I’m known for helping women regain confidence and feel comfortable in their own skin, especially those struggling with hormonal hair growth or PCOS. I’m proud of creating a space where women feel supported, understood and empowered through their treatments.
What sets me apart is not just my technical expertise, but my personal experience, I’ve been in their shoes, and I know firsthand how life-changing it can be to finally feel confident and free from unwanted hair. Helping women transform both their appearance and self-esteem is truly the most rewarding part of my work.
