Conversations with Georgette Ayaz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Georgette Ayaz

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
The Beginning: A Passion Turned Brand
Gorgezze was manifested through my travels throughout Europe, inspiration from fashion magazines growing up, and experience with acting and modeling inspired me to build my own brand. Born during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when everything slowed down, and I had the space to reflect on my passions—music, fashion, and wellness. I’ve always believed in the power of self-expression, whether through personal style, sound, or mindset. The idea for Gorgezze came from wanting to create a brand that helps people tap into their best glow, inside and out.

Early Stages & Growth
I started by curating fashion pieces, sharing my DJ sets, and diving deeper into personal development and holistic wellness. Over time, I realized these elements weren’t separate but interconnected. Looking good, feeling good, and creating a vibe all go hand in hand. From selling on Poshmark and Whatnot to expanding into digital products, eBooks, and online courses, I’ve been growing Gorgezze into a multi-dimensional platform.

Where I Am Now
Today, Gorgezze.com is evolving into an e-commerce business that blends music, fashion, and wellness. I’m building a community where people can embrace their personal glow, whether through curated fashion, high-vibe music, or tools for self-growth. My goal is token growing my brand while staying true to what inspired me in the first place—helping people feel confident, empowered, and aligned with their best selves.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Obstacles & Challenges – The Journey of Gorgezze

Gorgezze hasn’t been a smooth road—it’s been a journey of growth, resilience, determination, and constant evolution. Some of the biggest challenges along the way include:

1. Building a Brand from Scratch

Starting Gorgezze as a unique fusion of music, fashion, and wellness meant carving out a niche that didn’t fully exist. Figuring out how to combine DJing, fashion, and digital content into a cohesive brand took time, creativity, and a lot of trial and error.

2. Social Media Growth & Engagement

Growing Gorgezze’s presence on Instagram, TikTok, and SoundCloud requires consistency and strategy. Understanding what content resonates, staying ahead of trends, and balancing personal branding with creative expression has been a learning curve.

3. Balancing Creativity & Business

Being both an artist (DJ, creative) and a brand builder means wearing multiple hats. Sometimes, the behind-the-scenes work—marketing, networking, planning—can take over the creative process, making it challenging to stay inspired and focused on music and content creation.

4. Overcoming Self-Doubt & External Judgment

As a female entrepreneur and DJ in a competitive industry, facing judgment, imposter syndrome, and the pressure to prove legitimacy has been real. People sometimes judge based on appearance rather than skill or passion, but pushing through those moments and staying true to the Gorgezze vision has been key.

5. Time & Energy Management

Balancing DJing, fashion, wellness, and content creation requires a lot of focus and organization. Learning to prioritize without burnout and create space for both artistic expression and brand-building is something that continues to evolve.

Despite these challenges, Gorgezze is about transformation, empowerment, and making an impact. Every challenge has led to growth, deeper connections, and a stronger foundation for the future.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What I Do & Specialize In

I run Gorgezze, a multi-dimensional brand that blends fashion, music, wellness, and mental health awareness. My work revolves around:
• Luxury & Streetwear Fashion – Selling unique, handpicked pieces through my Shopify store, Poshmark, Whatnot, and eBay.
• Music & DJing – Sharing sets on SoundCloud that fuse techno, house, and indie vibes to create high-energy, mood-boosting experiences.
• Wellness & Empowerment – Expanding Gorgezze Glow Revival, a platform offering coaching, digital courses, and self-improvement tools focused on mindset, spirituality, self-care, and personal transformation.
• Mental Health Advocacy – As an LMFT graduate student pursuing psychology, I’m integrating mental health awareness into Gorgezze, helping people develop emotional resilience, confidence, and self-expression through fashion, music, and holistic wellness.
• Gorgezze Glow Coaching Plan – A future initiative that will provide one-on-one and group coaching programs to help individuals improve self-worth, overcome limiting beliefs, and embrace their best glow—inside and out.

What I’m Most Proud Of

I’m proud that Gorgezze is more than just a business—it’s a movement for self-expression and empowerment. Starting during COVID, I turned my vision into a growing brand that helps people feel seen, confident, and aligned with their best selves. I’m also proud of merging my background in psychology and mental health with my passions for fashion, music, and wellness, creating a truly unique space.

What Sets Me Apart

Unlike traditional brands, Gorgezze is a fusion of creativity, self-care, and personal growth. Few brands integrate fashion, music, psychology, and mental wellness into one cohesive experience. My work isn’t just about selling products—it’s about curating an environment where people feel empowered to step into their highest self.
