Today we’d like to introduce you to Haley Henry
Hi Haley, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story begins in a small town called Kingsport, Tennessee, where I was born. Life took a significant turn when I moved to California, following my wife’s career in the Navy. Together, we have built a loving family with three beautiful daughters, creating a vibrant life filled with love and adventure. I embarked on my career in real estate after realizing my desire for a more fulfilling job that aligned with my values. It was a pivotal moment when I recognized that I could not only achieve personal growth, but also make a meaningful difference in the lives of families. Drawing on my experiences and insights, I took the leap into the real estate industry, eager to help others find their perfect homes and create their own stories. Motivated by the desire to make a positive impact on people’s lives, I focus on understanding their unique needs. My ultimate goal here in California is to create lasting connections and ensure that families feel supported and confident in their decisions, ultimately contributing to their happiness and stability. As I look back on my journey from Tennessee to California, I am grateful for the experiences that have shaped me. My family continues to be my greatest motivation, and my work as a realtor allows me to blend my passion for helping others with my commitment to creating a loving home for my girls. I am excited for the future, eager to embrace new challenges, and dedicated to making a positive impact in my community, one family at a time.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
As with any new experience, this journey of mine has been full of ups and downs. Moving to a new, bigger city where I knew no one was a huge obstacle that I figured out how to overcome in time. Discovering self confidence on a higher level and putting myself in uncomfortable situations was the necessary recipe for turning that disadvantage into a benefit in my present life. Now, I’m a San Diego Realtor that has created reliable connections with both civilians and military members all throughout San Diego County. Transitioning from the banking industry where my job was extremely routine and consisted of quick transactions, to being a Realtor where my success was solely based on how well I performed and presented myself to clients; a huge learning curve came with this change. At the end of every day I realized that the only thing keeping me from staying who/what I was, and who/what I wanted to be was some self discipline. The most important piece of this journey of mine was discovering my purpose and being honest with myself on how I could go about getting there.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a San Diego Realtor I specialize in assisting families in one of the biggest decisions of their lifetime. My career is not only about selling homes, but more importantly building relationships with clients. I take pride in being a knowledgeable resource that helps families navigate the complexities of moving, ensuring they find homes that meet their needs and suit their lifestyles. Knowing I play a role in helping them settle into a community and create a sense of home is extremely fulfilling and gives me purpose. I specialize in assisting military families, drawing from my own experiences as a military spouse. I am well aware of the unique challenges they face, such as frequent relocations, and the desire for a supportive community. This insight allows myself to provide guidance and resources to those families, making their home buying process smoother for those transitioning to new states.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Risk taking is essential to ones growth! Any successful entrepreneur can attest to the fact that there is so much to learn and discover in moments of uncertainty. Uncomfortable situations will not only help one develop their business, but they will also help one grow as an individual. I highly encourage individuals to place themselves outside of their “box of comfortability” and explore smart risks!
