Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Allen.
Hi Jordan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my journey into fitness because I have always told myself that I want to be able to play games with my kids. When my daughter was born a month into the initial wave of the covid pandemic, I wasn’t exactly where I wanted to be. Plus, me also owning a construction business, New Reality Construction, I noticed I was getting fatigued faster or I was getting sore for the lightest of jobs. So in return, I got back into fitness. It was an easy transition for me because I grew up playing sports so I just had to stick with what I know.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part, it was smooth. The hardest part is telling yourself to keep going even on days you don’t feel like it. The results always show up if willing to put in the work so knowing that made it easier.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I specialize in all things construction from rough framing to finish work and all in between. I’ve thought about getting into youth football coaching as well as personal training. What sets me apart from others though is my ability to go that extra mile for customers. I’m always willing to do a lil extra to make sure people can leave with a smile or having learned something new.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I’m a southern guy, I don’t think this city is anything like Houston, lol. I am surprised to see how tight the black community is here though. It’s kind of refreshing.
