Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Burke.
Jordan, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I fell in love with Social Media Marketing in my early years of college. Fast forward six years later, I am now a full-time (remote) freelance Social Media Manager! My husband is in the Navy so we were stationed in Destin, Florida for about a year and a half until we got the news that we would be moving to the sunny San Diego!
I currently manage six business’s social media accounts while also managing three accounts in my personal time. @jomoburke, @partypupzz & @finestcityfoodie. My husband and I are huge foodies so, naturally, I made a foodie account. We have been going to so many local restaurants/bars and reviewing what we love about the eateries. I also take my two golden retrievers on walks throughout the town but our favorite spot to walk to is the Seaport Village. You can probably catch us there 4/7 of the days!
I’m always looking for new clients (especially locally in San Diego), so if anyone is needing any help to promote their business, I’m your gal!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I’m never one to complain about life, especially when I have such a loving husband and fur babies. 🙂
Life always has struggles but we get through them with a positive attitude and that’s about all I can ask for!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I like to think of social media marketing as a creative profession. My day-to-day is always so different but the thing I love most about what I do is that I have the freedom to let my creative mind wander. I’m always coming up with ideas for content to post that is different, fun and sticks to a niche.
I’m proud of my ability to juggle clients while also having a great home life. I believe a work/home balance is so important!
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
110% my creativity. Without it, I would not be the marketer that I am today
