Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Chun
Hi Lauren, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’d like to think of myself as an adventurous person, whether it be trying fried spiders in Cambodia or skydiving right here in Oceanside.
A little over a year ago, I decided to record myself going on these adventures so that others can be encouraged or inspired to do the same.
I posted a video of my family going to a new restaurant on Instagram, and the rest was history!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, since putting your life out in public always comes with challenges and opinions from viewers that you did not ask for. Although people have criticized me, I’ve come to understand and accept that this is what comes with the territory of being a content creator. I’ve learned to let the positive comments be louder than the negative ones and to keep being my authentic self!

I am a content creator who specializes in food and beauty/health experiences. From trying out new salt caves and spas to finding the best burger in town, I give honest reviews and use my platform to boost local small business.
I am most proud of the fact that I try extremely hard to use my platform to support women owned, minority and family owned businesses. It feels good when I get messages from owners saying that I’ve doubled or tripled their sales!
