Today we’d like to introduce you to Melody Godspower
Hi Melody, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started making music professionally in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic, but my love for music didn’t just start there. I have always being in the choir and have always loved how music is made. it’s such a beautiful thing to look at the process of creating a body of work ,either in my music or writing or making accessories for my business, you can never completely shake off that joyfulness one feels when they see/here the end result of all that work.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. Some of my challenges was making people believe or support me. It is so tough when you know that talent doesn’t always get you support.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I do many things as a jack of all trade, but some of them include making music, writing books, making clothes and jewelry.
I am super proud of myself and I believe having self trust and love is what sets me apart, but also the uniqueness in how I love others and care for them
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I like everything, but the least like I have is the education system that continues to affect kids in a bad way. I wish and hope for more improvement in this sector of the government.
