Conversations with Natalie Piga

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Piga.

Hi Natalie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
It all started with me just wanting to use my passion for creativity and capture fun moments at events in a way that felt a little extra. I’ve always loved photography. I saw an opportunity to make photo booths more fun and memorable, so I decided to put my own creative spin on it—that’s how SO REEL Photo Booth got started.

Since then, it’s grown into something I’m really proud of- offering not just photo booths but full-on experiences for weddings, parties, and events. I love seeing people light up when they get their photos or videos—it’s about making memories, and I’m here for it.

It’s been a mix of trial and error, learning as I go, and a lot of fun along the way.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Has it been a smooth road? Honestly, not always. Balancing time between growing SO REEL Photo Booth, working my full-time position in IT, and being a mom to two teenage girls (plus our mini-schnauzer who definitely keeps things lively) can be challenging. Time management is key. There are plenty of late nights, early mornings, and learning to prioritize what really matters. It hasn’t been easy, but every challenge has taught me something new and made the journey even more rewarding.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As the owner and booth operator of SO REEL Photo Booth, I specialize in creating fun, interactive photo experiences that make events truly memorable. From custom photo templates to instant prints and digital sharing, I focus on bringing that extra spark to weddings, parties, and corporate events.

What I’m most proud of is how I’ve built a business that not only delivers great service but also creates genuine joy and lasting memories for people. What sets me apart is my attention to detail, creativity, and the personal touch I deliver to every event.

At the end of the day, it’s all about making people smile and helping them capture moments they’ll cherish forever.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned along the way is to always stay grateful through every struggle and challenge. The journey is yours, and it’s up to you to make it worthwhile. Staying flexible, open to learning, and focusing on gratitude has helped me push through tough times—whether balancing family life, adapting to business challenges, or navigating new trends. Patience and persistence truly pay off when you keep your eyes on the bigger picture. I also truly believe in community over competition- supporting others and building connections has made the journey richer and more rewarding.
