Today we’d like to introduce you to Polina.
Hi Polina, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My wellness journey began over two decades ago with a simple yoga class—an experience that lit a spark and set me on a path toward holistic healing.
In 2010, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training at Yoga Well School in San Diego, deepening my understanding of the mind-body connection. My travels to India—especially my time in Kerala—introduced me to the ancient science of Ayurveda. I was instantly drawn to its wisdom, which honors not just the body, but the whole self: mind, body, and spirit.
Motivated by that experience, I enrolled in the Kerala Ayurveda Academy, where I completed four years of study to become a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner.
Today, I offer personalized wellness consultations, lead retreats and workshops, and support others in reclaiming their vitality. My mission is to empower each person I work with to become their own best healer—through rhythm, nourishment, and deep self-awareness.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely not—and honestly, it’s still not always smooth.
Running a wellness business on your own is beautiful, but it’s also a lot. I’m the one doing everything—seeing clients, planning retreats, managing emails, making content, figuring out tech stuff… all of it. And some days, I feel inspired and aligned. Other days, I feel tired and wonder if I’m doing enough, or doing it right.
Staying motivated isn’t always easy when you’re wearing all the hats. But at the same time, I’ve grown so much—personally and professionally. I’ve had to get clear on what really matters to me, and what kind of life I want to create through this work.
Even in the harder moments, I come back to this truth: I’m here to live my purpose, not just talk about it. And that means showing up with honesty, being gentle with myself, and trusting that this path is unfolding exactly as it’s meant to.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m an Ayurvedic Practitioner, yoga teacher and retreat facilitator. My work is rooted in helping people reconnect to their inner wisdom and natural rhythms through holistic, personalized care. I offer Ayurvedic consultations, seasonal wellness guidance, retreats, workshops, and energy healing—all designed to support body, mind, and spirit.
I specialize in making Ayurveda and holistic practices feel practical and approachable. I don’t believe in quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I take time to understand each person’s unique story and offer tools they can integrate into daily life—whether that’s food, herbs, routines, breathwork, or mindset shifts.
I focus on creating a space where people feel safe to be exactly where they are—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. My intention is always to hold space with compassion and presence, while offering tools and education that help people understand themselves more deeply.
Rather than offering quick fixes, I guide others to reconnect with their bodies, their rhythms, and their intuition—so they can become their own best healers. It’s about empowering, not prescribing. Everyone’s path is unique, and my role is to support that journey with care, clarity, and ancient wisdom that still feels relevant today.
What I’m most proud of is the way this work has grown into a community—through retreats, workshops, and one-on-one sessions—where people feel held, inspired, and encouraged to take charge of their own healing. It’s an honor to walk beside them on that path.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Just a gentle reminder: healing doesn’t have to look a certain way. It’s not always dramatic or instant. Often, it’s quiet, subtle, and deeply personal. It’s in the small choices you make every day to care for yourself, to listen to your body, to rest, to nourish, to begin again.
Wherever you are on your journey, you are not behind. You are not broken. You are already whole—and there is wisdom in exactly where you are. Listen to your inner voice, and tune in to your body. Be kind, and speak to yourself with compassion and gentleness.
If you feel called to explore Ayurveda, slow living, or holistic wellness in a more grounded, real-life way, I’d love to connect. Whether it’s through a consultation, retreat, or simply sharing this path together, I’m here to support your healing in a way that feels true to you.
