Hi Recycle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Lots of local businesses have really cool materials that they don’t have a good use for. That is Recycle Everything’s entrance music.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Thankfully no major catastrophes! Which in the grand scheme of thing is pretty dang lucky. Knock on wood, long may it continue.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Recycle Everything produces lots of metal work and metal sculpture but also uses a wide variety of other materials to produce varied artworks. Best known for innovative sculpture that stirs the imagination, especially kinetic and interactive pieces. Continued attention to detail is a central focus which helps differentiate this work from others.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Safety is so important in a workshop setting! Learning good habits, techniques and procedures from practicing professionals is a great way to stay ahead of potential problems! Applies especially with powerful equipment but even with small tools too.
