Hi Sarah, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Born and raised in Brazil, I embarked on a life-changing journey when I moved to the United States at the age of 27 in 2010, shortly after graduating from business school. Settling in San Diego North County with my husband and 5-year-old son, I was stepping into a new chapter of my life with no concrete plans and a future shrouded in uncertainty.
Just two weeks after my arrival, I received the surprising news that I was pregnant with my second child. Despite the challenges of limited English proficiency and a living situation that involved sharing a living room, I embraced the unknown with determination and resilience.
After giving birth to my daughter, I resolved to pursue my American dream and enrolled in Esthetician school in 2011. Balancing the responsibilities of caring for two young children with the demands of a new career path and language barriers, I persevered through nearly nine months of rigorous training and successfully graduated, passing the state board exam in 2012.
Facing obstacles in securing employment due to language constraints, I made a bold decision to establish my own business in June 2012. Specializing in facials and waxing services, I honed my skills and built a loyal clientele over the years. In 2015, driven by a newfound passion and ambition, I ventured into the world of Permanent Makeup, a career path that I had never imagined I would embark on.
Transitioning from an esthetician to a dedicated specialist in semi-permanent makeup, I dedicated myself wholeheartedly to mastering this intricate art form. Through unwavering dedication, countless hours of practice, and significant investments in education and training, I developed and honed my natural talents, transforming them into a successful and fulfilling career.
For the past nine years, I have dedicated myself to the art of permanent makeup, continuously striving to refine and perfect my craft. Recognizing the importance of ongoing education and skill development in this dynamic field, I have made substantial investments in furthering my knowledge and expertise.
As I continue to evolve and grow in my career, I remain passionate about pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation in permanent makeup. Every stroke of the needle, every delicate contour, and every subtle shading technique is a testament to my dedication to excellence and my unwavering commitment to providing my clients with exceptional results.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it wasn’t easy. I had to attend beauty school without speaking English and learn both the profession and the language simultaneously. After I passed the state board exam on my first try, I tried to work for two different companies. However, I still wasn’t able to communicate very well, as my English was not yet proficient. My only option was to open my own business. In the beginning, I didn’t have much experience, but I had no choice; I had to thrive or go back to Brazil.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
In 2015, after obtaining my esthetician license, I decided to invest in a new career. Although I had never worked with any type of tattooing before, I stumbled upon microblading on Instagram. At the time, it wasn’t very popular, but I was intrigued and eager to learn more.
My goal has always been to help women become the best versions of themselves. I specialize in designing the perfect eyebrows for each individual, using my artistic abilities to create a shape and color that yield natural results.
I am extremely proud to have been in business for 12 years, and I consistently invest in education to elevate my skills.
What truly sets me apart is my dedication to my clients. I see myself as a giver, always putting my clients first because I genuinely care about people. I view money as a consequence of my work; the happiness of my clients is far more important. I prioritize quality over quantity, focusing on providing a personalized experience for each client. Every person who comes to me carries a little piece of my heart, and I strive to give them 100% of my energy.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Transparency, honestly.
I believe that a true professional must sometimes say no to clients when certain treatments are not in their best interest or when their expectations are unrealistic. I am passionate about educating my clients before they make decisions about any procedures.
