TERESA, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I began my journey in social media & Entrepreneurial journey back in 2018. I blogged inspirational content on a weekly basis. I then branched out and created an E-commerce business called BMARIE Fashion. It is the beauty within of a woman that is to build confidence and dreams. Within in all of this I have the Brand Dreamer of Dreams. In 2020 I used my Instagram page to Blog and Vlog my weight loss journey. My weight loss journey began in August 2020 and since then I have used my platform to share and encourage others to transform into the true them. My Mantra consistently is ” I am not the NEW ME, I am the TRUE ME.”
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
No, it has not always been a smooth road. I’ve had ups and downs throughout my life, but the person I am today, I am truly thankful for those trials and tribulations. I had to go through those seasons to mature and to unapologetically step into who I am today! The pain, the tears, the self-healing and growth has made me resilient and strong. All I know how to do is to fight and keep pressing because that’s who I am
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Self-Published Author, Personal Coach, Social Media Content Creator, Entrepreneur, Beauty & Fashion Creator, Voice-over Actress, and Student of Life. I use my social media platforms to create inspiring content that will speak to the hearts of the broken to heal, inspire, motivate, and love on through it all. Using all of the creativity I have inside; to work with others to heal and deal with their traumas and grow within themselves. I am known mostly for my Tiktok Videos.
I am most proud of maturing as a person and walking in purpose because in growing within self I have been able to positively impact others. When I started doing my TikTok’s and speaking how relatable topics. People started inboxing me until I became a coach and people really wanted coaching to help in growth.
What set me apart is that I am not the NEW ME, I am the TRUE ME. In growing in myself, I now understand who I am as individual is that I am RARE, and I can authentically walk in my TRUE SELF! I am a woman with a plan.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My parents are the top ones who deserves the credit. It’s crazy how you see the true impact your parents have on you until you are grown and looking back. My parents were always blunt with me, they never “Sugar Coated” anything to me. They showed me how to remain true to myself, even if it’s not the popular thing to do. They showed me how to handle life and never fold. Because of them I am strong. They were teaching me even when they were unaware that they were. I will always be thankful. My biggest supporters.
My friends like Neshia Wilson (Carese Beauty Owner) being the truest of friends. Truly a sister and always challenging me to think beyond to continue my journey. The loyalist of sister/Friends. My accountability partner in my goals for business/entrepreneurship.
Even those that have left their scars upon me, they’ve made me stronger, wiser and taught me to reach deep inside to heal from trauma’s I still unknowingly carried.
