Today we’d like to introduce you to Theresa Banerjee
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We became travel content creators on social media in 2021 after discovering our niche for luxury travel. We love to travel as a family and connected with so many other like-minded travelers, from family travelers to solo travelers. Traveling has turned our dreams into reality. As a writer by nature and with my passion for travel, I decided to start a travel blog www.travelbanerbees.com in 2023 after growing our following on social media. We love to share our travel experiences as a family while being fashionably present, which was a big hit to our followers. Although social media has been a great tool for engagement, we also wanted to showcase our brand and our love for travel, fashion, and experiences through our travel blog. With my husband’s knowledge and expertise of traveling to over 40 countries, he became an independent travel advisor in June 2024. Together, we decided to become a travel advisor and content creator duo to help and inspire others on their travel journey.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
We have struggled with growth over the past year on social media. As much as we engage with our current audience and have strong relationships, we are not being noticed by non-followers like we want on social media. I have taken many social media growth classes and talked to other influencers, but at the end of the day, we are discovering that growth depends on who wants to follow you and engage with your content.
Although we may not see much growth on our social media platforms, my husband has experienced much success with his travel business and is thriving, which is most important to us.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a Director, Global Ethics and Compliance for a medical device company. I have been in the healthcare compliance industry for over 20 years.
I am known for my attention to detail, expertise with healthcare compliance regulations and drafting policies, procedures and training for employees.
I am most proud of my accomplishments in becoming a home owner at the age of 26, being promoted to a Director role in my mid 40s, and raising two beautiful children who keep us busy with school and extra curricular activities. Most importantly, I am proud of my perseverance and staying creative even when it seems like my creativity is being overlooked.
What sets me apart from others is my passion for doing the job right, not just getting it done.

We would like to collaborate with brands who are willing to give smaller businesses a chance. We may not have hundreds of thousands of followers, but we do have a great community of loyal friends and followers who find our expertise invaluable.
