Hi Victoria, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Hi crystal lovers! My name is Victoria Kennington, and I own a successful gems and minerals corporation. Six years ago, I was working for a law firm that left me unfulfilled and wanting more. Even my daily walks to my happy place, the beach, weren’t enough to rejuvenate my spirit.
The cubicle life just wasn’t cutting it. I spent many days thinking about what my dream job would be and often thought back to my jewelry-making hobby. One day, I decided to pick up my passion project again. Once I saw the joy it brought me and that I could possibly make a living, I decided to take a risk. I left my job at the law firm, took a part-time job caregiving, and focused my energy on growing SetNStone.
Some people thought this venture was too risky, while others saw my drive and passion flourish. I ran booths at local farmers markets, which was fun and a lot of hard work. Unfortunately, it came with many challenges, including theft, broken inventory, and long days in uncertain weather. I decided to focus my energy solely on building my online store and haven’t looked back.
SetNStone Shop, INC has come a long way since those beginning days, and we’ve grown a beautiful online community of crystal lovers. With the help of my amazing team, we are able to host weekly live shows, provide regular shop updates, and provide a top-notch customer experience. Our mission is to add SPARKLE and light to your lives one crystal at a time.
I’ve enjoyed hand-selecting every piece of inventory to ensure we provide the best quality! While we provide a wide array of stones, we are most known for our stunning selection of Pink Amethyst, Larimar, Aura, and Citrine.
We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
We had some extremely successful years between 2018-2021 due to Instagram being at a high with full profile visibility. Also, our business focuses on incredible photos. Now, with social media and marketing changing at rapid speeds, our biggest struggle is keeping up with all of these technicalities.
Every day is a balance between selling, creating content, and marketing. It takes so much precious time to methodically plot and strategically plan with a purpose and goal every week! 5 years ago, you could just post a product and sell it in 5 minutes! Today, social media selling is extremely different. We have continued to work through these obstacles!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The #1 crystal we are known for is LARIMAR. This extremely rare and expensive material is only found in the Dominican Republic. Online, I’m known as “The Larimar Queen.” I take pride in our quality and selection! Also, we are known for our Tuesday Night live shows on Instagram, where we provide high-quality crystal home decor, jewelry, and metaphysical crystals.
We discuss how you can use the crystals to benefit you. We are most proud of our customer service, crystal education, and handpicked crystals intuitively selected just for you! What sets us apart is our low prices while providing extremely high quality, rare crystals and specimens. We also will go above and beyond to create intuitive orders made just for you.
Each week, we provide exciting new finds! We have customers that buy weekly from us for over 5 years now because we continue to bring new items to the shop! They also value and trust our taste. We are proud of the community we have built thus far. We consider everyone who follows, likes, joins our shows, or purchases from our business to be a part of our crystal family.

What matters most to me is providing quality crystals and quality content that is artistic and relevant to my customers and followers.
Also, showing weekly new, unique inventory that is financially smart for me as a business owner. The balance of being a successful seller and running the business books is tricky.
