Conversations with Viet Tran

Today we’d like to introduce you to Viet Tran.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Viet Tran. I am from San Diego, California. I graduated from San Diego Mesa College. Culinary arts is my major. I’ve lived in the United States for ten years. In Vietnam. I own a small restaurant! Currently, I am a chef, influencer, and creator (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube). However, I enjoy making cocktails too. Everything should take time, so I started cooking at home and making videos. After all, I eat my dinner outside! I believe I have a food and drink addiction. As a result, I had to teach myself how to edit videos. It is difficult for me, but it is worthwhile. In my opinion, you should first earn money and then pursue your passion.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It is so difficult to purchase your passion and earn money for living as same time. With me, 24 hours a day is not enough for me to finish everything completely. Besides, I learn to recognize for posting my contents on social media.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am the Chef at Herringbone La Jolla, an Instagram influencer, and a Facebook and TikTok creator. I am also attempting to work on YouTube. In the kitchen, I met a lot of people who, like me, enjoy cooking and eating. Now I enjoy making pizza. Concerning Influencer, I met all of my foodie friends! I occasionally receive invitations to new restaurants, for example. On TikTok, I’m starting to cook vegan food, make detox drinks, and share weight-loss tips. My pride is that I have met many people who share my interests in eating great food, reviewing new restaurants, and creating my own unique dish.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Keep up the good work! If at first you fail, try again! It is called life.
