Today we’d like to introduce you to Ana Gallegos.
Hi Ana , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
for 23+ years I have been practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist. About 2 years ago my heart mind and body have felt a shift coming and I came across a company who makes an organic plant based non toxic whitening product. coming across this felt exciting. One because I value low to non-toxic living and two because I am overly trained and qualified to offer this as a unique service as a safe, gentle, effective option compared to what most dental offices offer. In 2024 we were able to set up a room in our home to start to offer our services and in October of 2025 we were able to move in to a space in La Mesa, California with other wellness practitioners.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Honestly it has been a road with a lot of learning and growing pains. Most of the struggles have been more so inner struggles. Healing parts of me and learning that I am safe, I am worthy and I am capable of learning and offering this beautiful service for people. Starting a business has been a surprisingly healing part of my journey. Really sitting with myself, my desires, my what’s and needs. it has also been a beautiful resource to build community and connect. I have met so many beautiful people who are also stepping into creating something new and it gives a sense of I am not alone.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I still maintain my registered dental hygiene license but has stepped away from that as of March 2025. Currently I am solely specializing as a holistic teeth whitening practitioner. I specialize in creating a safe heart centered space where people who value non-toxic options can come and be guided through a unique self applied process to whiten their natural beautiful smile. I am most proud of starting something new with this services even though there has been a lot of fear, but doing it anyway. What sets me apart from others is the belief that everyone’s smile is sacred and because of that my love and intention of assuring that when someone comes to me they feel safe, cared for and important. I have intentionally created my service to be much more than “teeth whitening”. When you are here it is an invitation to disconnect from the outside world, to go inward and connect with your heart. I play heart centered music, use aromatherapy, and a weighted blanket for clients with option for hand massage with clients choice of some beautifully intentional curated oil blends. I believe that our smile is a reflect of the heart and have created a space with so much love and intention to support that belief.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
My heart is most fulfilled when I am being of service to others and helping others in some way. With the services/experience that I provide I believe it creates a positive ripple in our community and the world when we can give the gift of a smile to ourselves or others.
I believe my loving and caring nature makes others feel cared for and valued. My honesty and integrity helps to build trust.
