Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Harris
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
To be very honest it’s crazy how I got here. My photographer buddy Alex did a photo shoot for me he was so cool and excited when he shot with me I was amazed on how much fun he was having for my shoot, I was curious of his excitement for my shoot. Over time me n two other friends of mines started a podcast, so we was always looking for more epuipment to make our show better. A gentleman I met at my job gifted me an older camera with a few lenses in it. I thought it did video but it only took pictures. So going to the park with my daughter and also taking random pictures around my neighborhood and with some cool people I knew had something. Randomly woke up one day said out loud by myself I’m a photographer and ran with it. Ever since linked up an amazing media company called HipHopIsReal and we do interviews for underground battle rappers and numerous main stream artist and other entertainment entities. I’ve been able to get media access to a lot Livenation events in the area, also work with a yacht company doing party events taking pictures. I’ve done indoor weddings and outdoor weddings, baby showers, club events, fashion shows and group shoots. At this point im seeking mass opportunities and growing within my skills it’s only been about 5 years now since I told my I’m a photographer.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has been challenging but it just made me better, smarter, wittier, braver, more diverse, and most importantly it made me appreciate the grind to become great. Don’t get me wrong I’ve broken lenses, lost equipment and got slighted for money but it’s just great better we are here now.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a local photographer and do a lot of portraits of models, actors and actresses and whoever needs my services. I’m known for having amazing group photoshoots that I host. I’m mostly proud of my grow perseverance because a lot of people didn’t believe in me and I feel like they understand I’m meant to be here. I feel what sets me apart is my passion and Enthusiasm, also very positive attitude towards ever challenge no matter what.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success when you are a walking motivational story. People gravitate to good energy and real go getters. When ur routine is relentless
