Today we’d like to introduce you to Dainnese Jackson.
Hi Dainnese, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Dainnese Jackson. Born and raised in Southeast San Diego California. First, I want to tell you a bit about myself. Don’t feel sorry for me. My story is not for people to feel sorry. I just want people to know I truly want to be successful and I am still on earth for so many reasons.
At an early age, I began experiencing epilepsy also known as complex partial seizures. Due to the lack of community awareness regarding the condition, I was teased growing up. In 2011, by the grace of God, I had a major brain operation at UC San Diego Hospital in La Jolla, one of the best hospitals in San Diego. Since my brain surgery, I have been seizure-free 10 in a half years. 1/24/22 will be I will be 11-year seizure-free.
Even while battling epilepsy, I have always had a passion for writing. Since I was a little girl, I wrote poetry. However, it was not until 2010, when I was a brain surgery candidate, that I got serious about exploring writing as a professional career path. In 2017 I came out with my first book novel, “Killa & Heaven He’s in Love with the Coco: Part1” based on a true story. In 2018 I then released another book, “Still Standing”, which also included with Soundtrack. Still Standing is based on real my life regarding love, heartbreak, abortion and miscarriage, molestation, and my relationship with my family and etc. 2019 I came out with another poetry book called “So Poetic”. I’m now in process of working on two books (my new urban novel & my 3rd poetry book called The Maserati Chicks & Love Thy Self. My dream is to get in the entertainment business and turn my books into a film and create other businesses as well. I just need someone to truly believe in. I thought I can do everything by myself and realized I can’t.
Despite what I have experienced I am determined to do more and state, “this is just the beginning. The World has not seen anything yet!”. I refer to myself as a Diamond Dynasty woman on the rise.

I am a book author. I write urban novels and poetry
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Some people misunderstand me and don’t know the real me. I am a person with a big heart. Loyal and loving. Due to so many lies, others believe the lies instead of getting to know who I really am.
