Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasper Konda.
Hi Jasper, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up as a “skinny-fat” kid — not overweight, but not lean either. I was athletic enough to get away with it for a while. However, once I started playing organized sports in middle school, that caught up to me. That’s when I first got serious about working out and lifting weights.
At first, I saw some progress, but it wasn’t what I had expected. So I started talking to the personal trainer at my high school gym. He began pointing me in the right direction. Around the same time, I teamed up with a friend a few years older than me — someone already in the shape I wanted to be in. Training with him helped me understand what it really took to reach that level, and I learned a lot by observing his habits.
With the combined help of the trainer and my friend, I began correcting bad habits, became more intentional with both my gym sessions and sports training, and started learning the basics of nutrition.
But the real turning point came during the pandemic. That’s when I became obsessed with learning — hours spent reading, watching YouTube, and researching nutrition. Dialing in my diet finally made everything click. My physique started to transform.
During this time, I began casually posting progress photos on Instagram and Snapchat. I wasn’t at an elite level, but it was clear I trained. With the extra free time, I also added regular cardio into my routine, which pushed my conditioning over the edge. That gave me a new sense of confidence, and I started sharing more on my stories.
When Snapchat launched the Spotlight feature, I posted a simple pull-up video — and it blew up with 50,000 views in one day. That moment showed me that people were actually interested in my fitness content. Inspired, I launched a small fitness channel with the same friend that got me seriously into working out that featured 5-minute workout videos. It didn’t take off, but it kept me consistent, since I felt I had to maintain my physique.
Around that time, I got into modeling. I did a shoot in Gymshark gear — back before the brand really exploded — and loved the experience. I started taking more photos, even if just on my phone. A friend who modeled encouraged me to pursue it more seriously, so I began working with local photographers. As the quality of my photos improved, so did my Instagram following. I even ran ads to help boost growth.
That brings me to today. I’m in a bit of a plateau, but I know with more effort and consistency, I’ll keep progressing.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s definitely not been a smooth road. They say the day you start lifting is the day you stay feeling small — and that couldn’t be more true. On top of that, the constant pressure to stay lean as a natural lifter takes a serious toll. Body dysmorphia can hit hard.
That’s just one of the struggles. Others include constantly overthinking how I look, being overly self-conscious about what I post, and even feeling anxious about eating certain foods out of fear they’ll ruin my physique. But at the end of the day, excellence and comfort don’t coexist — and sometimes sacrifices have to be made.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m primarily a fitness model, known for my physique and high-quality photos and posts. I also like to mix in some humor — whether it’s through captions, stories, or occasional funny content — just to keep things light and relatable.
What really sets me apart is my creativity when it comes to shoots. I don’t just stay local — I travel and shoot in different locations to keep my content fresh and visually interesting. I also put a lot of effort into showing my personality through my posts, especially with witty, original captions that go beyond the usual.
One thing I always prioritize is engaging with my followers. Whether it’s through comments or DMs, I make an effort to always respond — as long as it’s respectful.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
“Most people under achieve their whole life.” – Unknown
“When you’re faced between a hard thing and an easy thing, do the hard thing, because if the easy thing was the right thing to do, you would’ve already done it.” – Alex Hormozi
I share these quotes as a reminder to always put your best foot forward. When I was skinny fat, people made fun of me for being fat. When I got in shape, people made fun of how I ate and how much I worked out. The truth is — people will criticize you no matter what.
So if you’re going to get judged either way, you might as well be proud of what you’re doing. Give it your all. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something.
