Daily Inspiration: Meet Jessica Lynn

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Lynn.

Jessica, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Having a Mother that was far ahead of the curve was the start… she worked at a health food store her first job in around 1945 in Detroit Michigan where she met the greats of the time including Adel Davis and Bernard Jensen to name a few. We were raised on organic and health foods, we went to an Osteopath who was also a homeopath and were only treated with conventional medicine when needed for things like broken bones or stitches.

All that I learned and was also mentored by Dr Viola Frymann I could transfer to animals, from homeopathy and herbs, then add to that Dr Wu a Cornell Phd Microbiologist who helped me develop my probiotic digestive enzyme blends for horses. He was also local to San Marcos in the Twin Oaks area. I had other world wide mentors including herbalists and holistic veterinarians.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been challenging as there are many other in it for only the money and not the passion. I am passionate about what I do in helping the owner’s with their animals.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
As I grew my business I worked full time in construction from project management to assistant office engineer for Cal Trans and also on the Sprinter Project managing daily reports for 23 track inspectors. Growing it while working is what has helped me to be a success in my business which I started in R&D in 1996 and launched in to commercial sales in 1998.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I have always had a love for horses and was always wanting to know more about what kept them healthy and what they needed for a long and healthy life. I was the kid who always found a lot kitten or puppy or an injured bird and brought it home. Was alway outside growing up from the beach to the ranch. Growing up in Del Mar on the beach life style, with the family ranch about 5 miles inland, is now owned by an Olympic Dressage competitor, Stefan Peters, was an incredible life style in the day. The house in Del Mar was built by my Father in 1950, the ranch in 1959, and so much has now changed. We were able to ride the horses to Torrey Pines beach on open land, now it is Hwy 56 and houses.
