Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
This is how my bubble life started. I was given the gift of making a giant bubble one day the end of 2018 from someone who was close to me. Little did I know at the time, that this person gave me the tools I would need to heal from the relationship I was in with them. It turned out to be one of the hardest relationship I had ever been in. Alcohol fueled his rage and I was caught in the middle. Once Covid hit, it got worse. I had to get a restraining order after he destroyed my dwelling and personal sentimental things and I started the process of healing and recovering . The bubbles were my way of staying present, in the moment. I needed to bubble! I was bubblin for hours on end. It was the only time that what I was going through did not matter. I wasn’t thinking of my future or my past. . it’s only in the moment where there is no pain or anguish. . Not the thoughts in my head. Or the pain in my body. And with the help of the bubbles ,I found peace in my soul, and joy in my heart. I saw that I was helping the community find joy and magic with bubbles. More and more folks wanted more and more bubbles. Just the simple act of making the bubbles and playing ,dancing, giggling and lots and lots of hugs I found that I was healing myself and others who saw the magic, were healing themselves,too! I have also been given the gift of forgiveness, for I am grateful for the experience I had to endure to be where I am today! Had it not been for that experience or having met him, I would not have found these magical orbs of flowing fleeting art! So fast forward to the present time, and looking back on the hundreds of people who have bubbled with me, I’m so grateful to all who have helped me in the process . For it is everyone I’ve met doing the bubbles who has had a part in my healing journey. I encourage everyone to join in the magical play of the bubbles!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
What’s a smooth road?? Has anything been smooth? Ever? I’d say not.. I mostly have had to fight within myself and my intrusive thoughts telling me that what I’m doing is childish, not ever gonna work, or ‘what do you think you are doing!?’ I fight off those thoughts daily because I KNOW what it’s doing for me, and others. Old and young. Black or white, purple or polka dot, from this planet or another one. Language Barriers or not.. love is love in all languages. Kindness is universal and the magic of the bubbles will change you. Its my ministry! It’s needed now more than ever for community to come together and play in a safe space filled with magic and love. I must mention that there is some pushback from the officials that want to hinder the bubble folks from spreading love and joy with their art! Giving citations for liquid littering. Just seems to me that ‘they’ want to take away anything that is beneficial to humanity. Members of the communities that I have served have thanked me for being there, for being apart of their community and holding space for everyone. It’s not just fun and games, it’s healing and transformative. Yes, I’ve also had a few people who just don’t see the magic and complain about environmental issues. But I can say that the benefit to the humans walking the earth totally outweigh any negative things the bubbles Might have. Plus, I use the soap they use to wash off the animals after billions of gallons of oil spill into our ocean. And ‘you’re’ worried about my bubbles?!? It’s a struggle to see that our officials just don’t get it. Maybe more of ‘them’ should ‘bubble’ 😊🙏🫧💕
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I will never call what I do work. It’s absolutely play! I’m a giant bubble producer.. fleeting, flowing, magical bubble artist. A smile maker, joy dealer and love giver.. I specialize in making people see and feel the magic of the bubbles. Making bubbles worth feeling! Id say I’m known for my bubbly personality. I believe that being heart centered sets me apart from the others as I don’t just do it for the ‘money’ I do it for the love of the bubbles and the desire to spread that love throughout the world. There are so many people who can benefit from them.. so many folks who don’t even know they need it. I’m proud of the fact that I have clients that repeatedly come to me for bubble therapy. They want me back, not just for the bubbles, but for me to be apart of their special day. It’s the love, laughter and magic of the experience of the bubbles.. and the way I present them and how I encourage all to give it a go! Take a dip in the bucket with the magic wands and lift your arms to the heavens and watch as the swirling colors captive your mind and bring peace to your soul! Who wants to play?
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
There are lessons daily. But I think the most important lesson on my journey has to be to never give up on your dreams. The more I fight myself, the more universe pushes me back to the bubbles. If you find something that sets your soul on fire and that makes you light up every time you talk about It, and it provides service to others, then I say run with it! As long as you learn from your lessons, then they turn into blessings! Being grateful for all that has come before and all that is coming!
