Daily Inspiration: Meet Logan Rago

Today we’d like to introduce you to Logan Rago.

Logan, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started working with dogs when I was 14 years old. From a young age, I always felt drawn to animals and knew that whatever I did in life, it would involve them.

One day, I walked into a dog salon near my house and asked if they would hire me to do anything at all. At 14, you need a work permit to legally work — so after they said yes, I got my permit and began learning how to bathe dogs. I was eager, curious, and determined to grow.

About two years in, they began teaching me the basics of grooming. At the time, I wasn’t sure I wanted to become a groomer. I thought maybe it wasn’t “aiming high enough,” and I considered becoming a veterinarian instead. But as I continued learning, something clicked. I realized grooming wasn’t just a job — it was a craft, an art, and an opportunity to create transformation.

I decided to start sharing my progress online, just to document the journey. What began as simple posts quickly grew. My social media started picking up and expanding in ways I never expected. Through that growth, I met incredible people, learned more about the industry, and began seeing how powerful this career could truly be.

During a visit to California, I met Gabriel Feitosa. He offered me a job, and we quickly realized we shared a vision. Over time, that opportunity turned into a partnership — in business and in life.

Today, we are building a dog grooming brand and business unlike anything else in the industry. We’ve traveled the world educating, connecting, and sharing our experiences with other professionals. And we’re only getting started. Our goal is to continue innovating, expanding, and elevating not only our brand, but the grooming industry as a whole.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every story has a few bumps in the road.

While I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunities I’ve had, none of it came without long days and hard work. Starting young gave me a head start, but balancing school and a job at 14-18 was demanding — both physically and mentally. Managing classes during the day and working in the salon after pushed me to grow up quickly.

One of the biggest decisions I faced was choosing not to pursue a traditional college path. That choice came with risk, uncertainty, and pressure. Betting on myself and my career at a young age wasn’t easy — but it was intentional.

As my social media began to grow, so did the responsibility. Most days, my work doesn’t end when grooming appointments are over. Filming, editing, posting, managing brand partnerships, running a business, and constantly developing new ideas to stay innovative often means working late into the night. Building something meaningful requires more than passion — it requires discipline and sacrifice.

But the biggest challenge has always been internal.

I’ve struggled with being overly hard on myself — rarely slowing down, rarely giving myself grace. I naturally operate at a fast pace, always striving for better, always pushing forward. At times, that drive has led to stress and burnout.

Today, growth looks different. It’s not just about expansion — it’s about balance. I’m learning to protect my peace, to build sustainably, and to continue elevating my career in a way that’s healthy, intentional, and long-lasting.

Because success isn’t just about how far you go — it’s about how well you take care of yourself along the way.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a professional dog groomer, entrepreneur, and content creator, and the founder of Dogsbylogan LLC. I specialize in precision grooming with a strong focus on structure, balance, and elevated presentation. My work blends technical skill with creativity — I don’t just groom dogs, I sculpt and transform them all in a way to make sure they have the most comfortable experience. At the end of the day my job is about the dogs, ands that’s what means most to me.

I’m known for modernizing the perception of dog grooming through social media. By sharing my growth, techniques, and behind-the-scenes process online, I’ve helped bring visibility and appreciation to the artistry within the grooming industry. My content has reached millions, allowing me to connect with professionals and pet owners around the world.
